Now this is what you call a DGW. 14 games no less spanning from Saturday lunchtime to Thursday evening with 8 teams playing twice.
Saturday itself is chocker and for once Soccer Saturday will be worth turning on with 6 games for Jeff to get his teeth into. It is bookended with West Ham & Newcastle at 12.30pm and Man City vs Spurs at 5.30pm.
We then have just a couple on Sunday with Leeds vs Man Utd at 2pm and Wolves welcoming Leicester at 4.30pm.
The DGW action gets underway on Wednesday with 3 games and then we conclude on Thursday with Wolves going to Arsenal.

Most obvious for me is that White doesn’t have a game so he’ll be third bench so why spend 4.5? He could be e.g. Tsimikas and that gives money for Weghorst or a better defender.
Then which attacker are you going to bench?Is there an opportunity to downgrade that player to a 4.4 and Gundo could be heading towards e.g. Mahrez

Hi all..
I’m seeing a lot of FH drafts and I’m panicking that I’ve missed something..
Here is my team.. I can field a full 11 with Salah, TAA,, Robbo and Ramsdale on the bench.. so I don’t feel a FH is needed.
0FT as I did martinelli to Son and Antonio to Broja already.. I have all my chips remaining aside from TC which I used on Salah this GW.
Am I being stupid for not using a FH and is my team ok???

Same boat as you have only used tc and can field decent xi without usung FH. Think you are good to go

+1. I have a decent starting 11, and a backup keeper, plus 3 Liverpool players. I am planning to go with them, despite some poor covid Christmas results. The upside is still having the two FHs for interesting developments to come.

It’s team specific at the end of the day. You have to ask yourself when you are playing the chips. With all the chips left you only have so many weeks to use them. Also what you might be waiting for exactly. It’s not always about having 11 players are they the right 11

Thanks Smash.. this is what makes me wonder am I missing something here.. but also I think I lot of teams because of this game week set themselves up to arsenal and Liverpool heavy (quite a few people have 3 from each)
So I guess they have to either free hit or WC.. FH seems the easier option as these teams aren’t bad at all going forward. I feel I could keep pace this GW without the chip.. I could even save my FH for a BGW and watch the rest drown.. lol (I wish) anyway I appreciate the feedback as always… and good luck this GW

Thanks KL yeh the two free hits and WC and BB left.. I’m hoping they pay off as everyone in my mini leagues have used at least one of theirs and I’ve managed to keep pace

Anyone else with Sterling in their team feeling nervous of Pep roulette?

To be honest.. it’s a rotation risk having pretty much any city player mate.. I have mahrez.. who is a rotation risk.. But when he does play he tends to return.. as long as you have a decent bench sterling will play the majority of games

Nope not really. Pep roulette is overrated team is fairly predictable this season. He can only bench one of Gundo, KDB, Foden, Mahrez, Sterling , BSilva. Grealish and Jesus injured
