  1. Got this with exactly 0 in the bank left laugh

    • Livramento and KWP playing well

Weghorst EO will hurt if he does well for me

    • Hey that was good work – you may have nailed it with just the right amount of wiggle room (ie. zero, that’s what you want I guess, on a FH!). You’ll go well! 😉

  2. Glad I didn’t jump on the Broja train but at least we can enjoy the Livra’s 8 points smile

  3. Is GW 28 going to be a popular WC week?

    • I believe so Bees. Going for it? 😉

      • I think I have to. Put together a possible team and saw no CHE in it! It’s going to be interesting…

    • I’m not sure, I’m holding off on pressing the button till midweek FA Cup games. An upset for a popular team (eg. Liverpool or Spurs) or West Ham beating Sou could drastically change the picture for GW30.

    • Looking at my team for 28-30 I’ll be surprised if I don’t WC in 28. But as Smash has said, I won’t do anything until after the cup games.

    • I was planning to WC28 but atm I only need a -4 to bring in Salah and I should be ok. I’m thinking more like WC31 now.

  4. This is me currently. Not sure what I’ll do currently. Maybe a -4 or a WC. The Watford duo and the United due are issues that need dealing with. Antonio will go. It’s whether I WC now or wait for more info in GW31.

    • You are not in a bad position in terms of having some doublers. I’m of the opinion to attack and go at it hard now with a WC and hold a FH past 30 and use the FH in 33/36. But who knows what the best strategy is. I think you are right that perhaps things will be clearer after the FA cup.

      • Might depend if Chelsea get scheduled a double too. Currently I see about 5 changes so we shall see

        • Thanks very much for the musing about gw28+. I used my WC in gw 24 to recover from a disastrous covid Christmas, and it’s worked (+180,000). However, I do play in some Spurs MLs where use of players from our North London rivals is frowned upon, so OR is not a practical goal (this year).

I think I’m pretty well situated through gw30 (probably a FH, as I still have both, and a BB left). But it’s the post-gw30 world I’m concerned about. I wonder if anyone has been playing with scenarios for must-haves from gw30-gw38, aside from Chelsea?

Also, in the short run, it does look like a single game weeker for C in gw28-probably Smash’s Salah?

Pardon the rambling, Covid Christmas has been traumatizing.

    • This is me. I’ve massive concerns over Reg & Moura. Coufal needs to go and then there’s Dennis!

      • May be Reg to Kilman, Coady, Burn and Weghorst to ASM, Jimenez and things look OK for next week.

      • Looks good Kop, Reg and Coufal are the ones to go I think – you’ll be playing 5 defs then.
Else you can let go of Reg/Coufal and Lucas stack up on 28/29 dgws, you have good enough players to wait with that -8 I reckon

        • The news that Chelsea are set to double in GW28 further complicates things!

        • I had just decided to work my way through 28-30 and WC31, FH36. If CHEvNOR gets rearranged I might go back to my original plan of WC28, FH30

  5. Leeds v Spurs

  6. Is anyone look at Newcastle players? Back to back DGWs. Wood, Targett or ASM if fit.

    • I would add Wilock, Burn, Dubravka to the mix depending on budget. I would be handy if they get knocked out of the cup this week.

      • Dubravka is a great keeper. Not sure if many CS will be on the cards Brighton, Chelsea an the saints very likely to score.

Wilock and Burn are good calls too.

    • 100% I’ll bring in one or two
