FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Gameweek 3 is upon us and we have the second ‘normal’ Saturday morning deadline in a row. The bell will go at 11am on Saturday ahead of the will he won’t he Perisic ‘news’ as Spurs welcome Wolves to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Four matches follow at the traditional 3pm slot as Palace v Villa (or Vieira v Gerrard if you like this sort of frame) takes place at Selhurst Park. Everton v Nottingham Forest has a real flavour of the 90s to it, whilst a West London derby by the river takes place as Brentford travel the 6 miles to Fulham. Leicester City v Southampton is the final one at 3pm. ‘9 NIL’ There I said it, now let’s move on. Bournemouth will be praying that Jesus isn’t cross with them at 5.30pm. Or anytime between then and about 7.
Sunday at 2pm and Chelsea go to Elland Road to renew old rivalries with Leeds. West Ham – due to playing in the Europa Conference League on Thursday – will kick off at the same time at the London Stadium; Brighton being the visitors.
Newcastle United v Manchester City – or new money versus old new money – is the 4.30pm offering.
Liverpool again have to wait until Monday to play, but it’s bottom-of-the-table Manchester United at 8pm and there should be no real difficulties there.
The games in full…

Just realized that there are only 9 days from when gw4 begins and gw6 ends. Is it already time to think about a stronger bench?
Botman and Robben
I have Andreas, Neco and Archer. Hoping they are good enough.

Pretty dismal start to my season. I don’t think I am alone in that but I feel like I need to switch some folks up and hopefully turn my season around. So I have been toying with the idea of using a WC this week. Below is my current team and boy have I made some big transfer mistakes. We’ll find out how big later today if Salah goes off. Currently sitting on a single FT and 1.0 ITB. My first question for you all is do you think it is time to WC? Second would be if so is the team posted as the first comment a good WC draft? Third, if not a good WC draft who is a must have?

Hey ODT, I’m right there with ya. Really tough start but we’re seeing fine margins this year I think. Good team on paper, just a bit unlucky. Not sure that team needs a WC, just needs KDB and Son to go off on the same weekend! And as you see below, the WC question will always be Salah or no Salah. I prefer the Salah team for the obvious reasons – safety in owning him and can easily move to another big-hitter when you feel the time is right.
ODT
Thank you!

C’mon United, the night for the big comeback

What a difference to the past couple of weeks. They can do it if they want to.
Fearing for my LIV defense.

Knew the goal was coming. LIV don’t look up for the fight.

Why did Alison take so long to get up???
inittowinit
I’m afraid that Milner is finally starting to show his age. Shouldn’t be a starter anymore. I appreciate it is needs must due to injuries etc but we’ve been here before with him and Henderson starting and it’s just not a patch on the alternative and it makes such a difference.

Fabinho must have a knock surely ? That bench of Liverpools looks really light too.
bees393
Milner and Elliot not a good combo.
Otieno
Sancho bandwagon incoming

Where was this Man U in the first 2 gws?
Liverpool look a bit shell shocked
