Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3

Another gameweek in the books and another on the cards. As Gameweek 3 starts we are sitting here dreaming of how we are going to fit a certain Portuguese superstar into our teams. Still, let us leave that struggle for another day and turn our attention to the task at hand, which is scoring well this week. The gameweek gets started with City laying waste to Arsenal in the early game. That is followed by five 3pm kick-offs. Villa take on Brentford, Brighton play host to Everton, Toon welcome in Southampton, Norwich battle it out with Leicester and hopefully The Hammers take apart Palace. The day is not done yet though, as the Premier League have left their best game for last when Liverpool play host to Chelsea as both teams will be looking to send an early message to one another.

Sunday brings us the remaining three fixtures. There are two games scheduled for a 2pm start. Burnley tangle with Leeds and Kane pretends he is happy to be at Spurs when they play Watford. The gameweek is brought to a close with Traore trying to finally put away a chance, this time against Manchester United and (the soon to be defunct) ‘Pen’andes.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 3 from all at FF247!

Don’t see Arteta has a long tenure, can he survive till Christmas?

City is not looking in walking pace and not going gun-ho, still they put past 3 goals literally with no effort. Looks like PEP will deploy the similar strategy of holding back the lead and preserving the energy. It is known that they have only 1 target and that is to win the UCL.

Why no one is paying attention for G. Jesus
He is doing great FPL wise.

Arteta gotta go…starting to feel sorry for him..
Not an Arsenal fan, but this is the worst Arsenal team I’ve ever seen,
This just Highlights what a great manager Wenger was,
I’m sure Arsenal fans would have him back in a heart beat.

    Good luck everyone!
Hearing a lot of people planning CR7 and expecting a price of £13+ ….know how dangerous he is, obviously, but with his age and the other players Man U have, do you think he’ll get rotated/subbed off much….still worth the expected price?
Feel 3 ‘premiums’ weakens the rest of the team too much so personally think I’ll be sticking with 2 + a couple of ‘B’ players such as TAA/Grealish/Son etc.
How would you guys rank the ‘premiums’ …1 being most important, 5 being least important?

    Salah
    Fernandez
    Lukaku
    Kane
    Cr7

      1-Kane
      2-Bruno
      3-Luka
      4-Salah
      5-CR-7
Ronaldo will turn out to be an expensive farce. At 37 I don’t expect him to play every game. A costly souvenir with a half a million weekly wages.

Yeah that’s kinda my thoughts too ….do you know how many mins/games he played last season for Juve …was he rotated/subbed much?
Surprised you still hold Bruno 2 places above Salah though with the impact CR7 will have on him and penalties…would’ve only had 9 goals last season without them….I can see his assist numbers going up but wonder if it’ll be enough to warrant his price now

        • Well, last season for Seria A he played 2, 803 minutes and scored 29 goals, plus 2 assists.
As for Bruno, already 3 goals without any PK involved. Salah on 1 wink

Cr7 will play 90mins almost each match. Dont think he will be rotated at all. Maybe Christmas time he misses a match due to fixtures congestion. He is worth the 12.5 or 13m imo. Will get plenty of tap ins and penalties too. He wont do much.. Except be at the right place at the right time and score goals

For me, Ronnie impacts Bruno, enough that 12m is too much for him
      Ronnie
      Salah
      Kane
      Lukaku
      Bruno

      MHD says:

I guess he’ll get regular starts, pens, most free kicks and get subbed after 60′.

Salah, Kane, Lukaku, Bruno in that order. Still can’t judge for CR7 but expect very high ownership which will hurt if not owned.
