FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 3
Another gameweek in the books and another on the cards. As Gameweek 3 starts we are sitting here dreaming of how we are going to fit a certain Portuguese superstar into our teams. Still, let us leave that struggle for another day and turn our attention to the task at hand, which is scoring well this week. The gameweek gets started with City laying waste to Arsenal in the early game. That is followed by five 3pm kick-offs. Villa take on Brentford, Brighton play host to Everton, Toon welcome in Southampton, Norwich battle it out with Leicester and hopefully The Hammers take apart Palace. The day is not done yet though, as the Premier League have left their best game for last when Liverpool play host to Chelsea as both teams will be looking to send an early message to one another.
Sunday brings us the remaining three fixtures. There are two games scheduled for a 2pm start. Burnley tangle with Leeds and Kane pretends he is happy to be at Spurs when they play Watford. The gameweek is brought to a close with Traore trying to finally put away a chance, this time against Manchester United and (the soon to be defunct) ‘Pen’andes.
The games in full…

Do FF Fix know something we don’t???
Obviously they need fixing
Mind you, that is the most popular prediction.
…and half way, the prediction matched.
ITK
Why has cresswell been given an assist? The Antonio goal was not assisted by anyone was it?
Havertz. The man for big big matches
But thats a mis-headed effort, I do not think he meant to put it over Alisson that way. Anyway, it will be counted as a good goal.
But then James became unlucky with the red card. It was an accident, but as a Salah owner I am happy. Sad for the James owners though whoever got him.
GM
To start with I thought he was just helping it on. He wasn’t.
And it’s a red card for James. He’s not unlucky.
Wow!
Congrats to the lucky salah owners.
Was never a penalty, and was never ever a red card.
Chelsea dominate, Liverpool poor, salah very poor, should have had a yellow but gets gifted a penalty.
This is when i hate the game.
I do not agree…thats a proper red card. Hand-ball at goal line stopping a sure goal even if not intentional is always a red.
Spot the Liverpool fan. Red is an absolute joke
Mate, I am an Arsenal fan…….has no emotional link with Pool over miles.
Overall, I am bit disappointed with Chelsea’s approach towards the game. They are playing counter-attack based game. I guess the team is good enough to attack Pool (hope they will do it in next half) and break them.
It did not seem intentional I agree. Not sure why there’s a red – penalty seem correct though?
Chelsea would have won that with 11
Why is that not a red and how is Chelsea dominating with Liverpool leading in all the stats?
It’s a red card lads.
+1
S5, I thought this applied to intentional actions.
It was intentional. He lifted his arm upwards.
And the referee thought so too.
Looked like a volleyball move that. There was intent clearly. I am a Juve fan
Weren’t intentional . Came off knee first
S4 its not really deliberate
It bounced of his knee did hit the arm but i dont think it clearly deliberate. It was not like the famous luis suarez handball in 2010 world cup. And isn’t there a double jeopardy rule? If u give penalty, u shouldnt get a red card? Double punishment. Really killed the contest. Chelsea would have won 1-2 with a counter attacking goal if no red card
The angle behind the goal shows it clearly. His arm is lifted because he knows after it hit his knee, its beating him.
I wouldn’t blame any player for doing it but it’s intentional. Probably instinct but intentional
And that’s a leap to say it would have been 1-2 with no evidence to back it up.
Certainly not clear cut enough to send him off and ruin the game
