FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 31
Welcome all to a nice normal gameweek. Sort of.
We have every team playing once with just the one DGW fixture bolted onto the end of it.
We also have a textbook weekend format as well! Lunchtime and tea-time games on Saturday with a lovely spread of 3pm games in-between, then two back to back clashes on Sunday, all rounded off with some Monday Night Football. Pure poetry. And then of course Burnley v Everton on Wednesday, if anyone can be bothered.
Liverpool play Watford with Salah looking forward to taking his World Cup frustration out on the Hornets at 12.30pm. Before Brighton tackle Norwich, Burnley versus Manchester City, Chelsea v near neighbours Brentford, Leeds home to Southampton and Villa going to Wolves in a Midlands derby all at 3pm. Saturday night and it’s United v City… Leicester City.
Sunday starts at 2pm with West Ham United v Everton followed by Spurs v Newcastle at half four.
Another derby, and another one from the capital on Monday as Vieira goes up against his old side as Arsenal head to Croydon to face off against the Palace.

Not having Doherty & Son this GW definitely killed my rank. Hoping Ramsdale and White come up with the CS goods. Saka G + A won’t be so bad either.

Don’t worry Otieno, as I think that this was the type of team we were all dreaming of having too! So you’re not ‘Robinson Crusoe’ (ie. alone on an island!)! Keep the faith dude, and the points will come (almost typed, ‘the pints will come’, which may well be true as well!). 😉 Cheerio!

Are you aiming to FH in 36? Sounds the best option but who knows by then?
I think I’m going to FH in 37. Already got 11 that double in 36 and only 1 in 37.

Think that falls quite nicely for me to BB in GW36 and FH in GW37
Same here. It’s partly predicated on gw33 not looking particularly attractive for a FH.

What to do with this lot? I have 2 FT and 0.1 ITB. Coutinho has a blank coming up but doubles in 36 and 37 so not sure I should get rid of him. Dennis could go but for who? There is not much up front with that little bit of cash. Cucho almost seems sideways. Any suggestions?

Coutinho could become Maddison or Bowen perhaps.
Depends on your strategy too, i.e. what chips are left and when you plan to use them.
An example; if you FH33 and WC34/35 then you could easily let go of Coutinho and get him back later for the AVL double.
I only have a single FH left.
I think Maddison is the best replacement for Coutinho if I do it. 3 doubles coming. That just might work. Cheers!
