FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 32
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 32
Hello, what’s this I see? A normal game week! It feels like we’ve waited forever for one of these, so let’s enjoy the DGW respite as we have another on the way next week!
We open up the week with a trip to St James’ park, Newcastle host the Wolves and after 3 away defeats on the bounce, the Toon Army will be hoping that home comforts will help put the Magpies back on the right track with 3 points.
We then move to Saturday where we have 5 fixtures kicking off at lunchtime as the beleaguered Toffee’s host ‘United’. It’s now 4 defeats in 5 for Franks’s men and if they don’t start picking up points soon it could be curtains for the blue half of Liverpool.
In the 3 o’clock kick-offs we have The Gunners hosting Brighton, they’ll be hoping there is no hangover following an embarrassing defeat away to Palace in GW31, Brighton have looked poor in recent weeks so it’s as good a chance as any. Following a similarly embarrassing GW31, Chelsea travel to Saint Mary’s hoping to end what has been a disappointing week with a win. All eyes will be on Vicarage Road in the final 3pm, the Hornets host a Leeds side perilously close to the drop zone, it’s not quite a ‘6-pointer’ but a win for Leeds will make a huge impact on the relegation battle, a home win for Watford would give them hope and give Leeds a wobble. Let’s hope both teams have packed spare underpants.
We round off the Saturday fixtures with Villa hosting Spurs. The villains have looked out-of-sorts and Spurs are starting to string together results, if they can keep up the momentum then a top-four finish over rivals Arsenal looks a real possibility.
We open the Sunday fixtures with a trio of games in the 2 pm slot. Brentford will be on a high following their 1-4 win at Stamford Bridge and it could be a difficult game for a Hammers’ side just 3 days out from a tiring night of European football. Likewise, Leicester will be hoping that their European adventures don’t impact what will be a testing game against an in-form and well-rested Eagles side, who travel to the King Power full of confidence following their home win over the gunners. Norwich and Burnley make up the 2pm fixtures, this one has 0-0 written all over it, either that or a 3-3 thriller (we can hope right?) as both sides look to pick up points that will save their top league status. Could be fun, could be mind-numbingly boring.
Finally, we wrap up with the big one. Manchester City v Liverpool. Both teams are very much in the running for the title. City are in the driving seat and a win for the Citizens could unofficially wrap up the title race. A Liverpool win would swing the balance to Merseyside and make for a very exciting run-in. A 0-0 beckons!!
Enjoy the games everyone, only 6 game weeks to go after this one so enjoy it while it lasts and good luck, may your arrows be green!

Did anyone noticed Everton played MU? No lineups, comments ? Is still worth bringing Bruno/Ronnie in for DGW?
Big result. Strange team Everton.
Certainly makes it questionable but I still think u Wud want to target Norwich.
True that. Massive 3 pts
Steer clear of manu. They ll probably squeeze a 1-0 win vs norwich with fred scoring
Van Dijk to James was a great move.
He might still come in and score a hattrick the way things are going…
I changed my captain from Kane to Saka at the last minute, seems to be a very bad decision at the moment
I really hope Arsenal can turn this around, I had genuine hope of us making the top 4 this season
Looks like arsenal found poor form at exactly the wrong time. And spurs finding form at the right time.
I’m an Arsenal fan myself, Top 4 chances are all but over, not good enough to compete in the champions League anyway
And there I have Dubravka on the bench. Saka with a YC. ARS no longer want 4th place.
Playing Ramsdale instead of Dubravka with 7 points was very smart
I think we all did it to be fair mate!
That’s true. It’s one of those unexpected outcomes.
Is it mad to consider ditching Ramsdale for the dgw?
6pts from four players – this week does not look promising
5 points from 5 here
