Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 35
A normal GW! 10 games, 20 teams, all playing once, begins on a Saturday and ends on a Monday and gives us space to breathe before the following one. Back to the halycon days of normality, although something catastrophic will probably happen before or during it all no doubt to disrupt our false sense of norm.
In theory then Newcastle welcome Liverpool for a spanking at lunchtime on Saturday and we then have 4 games at 3pm as Palace go to Saints and Wolves entertain Brighton in two dead rubbers, Watford & Burnley discuss relegation matters, whilst Villa look to seal Norwich’s fate. We reconvene at 5.30pm to resume the title race as Man City go to Leeds.
Sunday is sparse but meaningful as Everton face Chelsea at 2pm, the same time that Leicester go to Spurs. Arsenal will then know their task at 4.30pm when they go to West Ham.
Our GW finishes on Monday with Man Utd welcoming Brentford.

Thanks Coys…that is my concern too. Son is on a roll to secure top four so probably just leave it on him.
What do you think of the Schmeichel move? Worth it? LEI did not shine today but they have good match ups and 2 DGW?

Hey guys – I’ve got a nice looking team, but I’m getting serious FOMO and a good case of ‘The Grass is always greener on the other side,’ syndrome!
Any suggestions? Have been toying with Kane out and getting in KDB and some cheap dog upfront for a -4, or else, Pukki + Kulu out for Richarlison + Gordon (they’ve got the fear of relegation under their wee bottoms atm!), but that’d leave me with only one City asset …
Oh, woe is me – perhaps I should just leave as is? Or FH in 36 and just play a normal team in 37. Plus won’t have time this week to look at trades from Wednesday to Thursday. Any ideas?

You may be right there young Dane! Wondering whether I’ll FH in 36 or 37, and this determines what goes on this week. In theory, I would love Richarlison and KDB, but if I don’t trade Mount (which I really don’t want to do), I’ll need to do a -8. BUT it could be worth it. Plus, I have a medical intervention on Wednesday, so I may be ‘in the clouds’ for team selection – which to me, sounds like loads of fun too! Anyway, there’s a lot of water to go under the bridge between now and then! Thanks a lot for your suggestions! 😉
