Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 35
A normal GW! 10 games, 20 teams, all playing once, begins on a Saturday and ends on a Monday and gives us space to breathe before the following one. Back to the halycon days of normality, although something catastrophic will probably happen before or during it all no doubt to disrupt our false sense of norm.
In theory then Newcastle welcome Liverpool for a spanking at lunchtime on Saturday and we then have 4 games at 3pm as Palace go to Saints and Wolves entertain Brighton in two dead rubbers, Watford & Burnley discuss relegation matters, whilst Villa look to seal Norwich’s fate. We reconvene at 5.30pm to resume the title race as Man City go to Leeds.
Sunday is sparse but meaningful as Everton face Chelsea at 2pm, the same time that Leicester go to Spurs. Arsenal will then know their task at 4.30pm when they go to West Ham.
Our GW finishes on Monday with Man Utd welcoming Brentford.

Any advice for gw36. Would quite like to get in coutinho and laporte. Thinking maybe to take a -4 and do white/kulu/weghorst to laporte/coutinho/4.6m forward? Any better suggestions?
Not sure what your options are with a £4.6m forward but they can’t be worse than Weghorst and the other two moves seem like upgrades
Someone like Westwood would just be bench fodder and I’d go just kane upfront
Not sure Kulu to Coutinho is worth the -4 this week.

I used my WC a couple of weeks ago but am now reconsidering given rotation risk of Chelsea and Leicester. 2FTs and 0.2itb.
Is Havertz & Watkins > Saka & Jesus worth it? Will FH 37 to get Watkins back
I wouldn’t be sure on Jesus. He’ll probably start tomorrow which for me makes him unlikely to start both next week.
Given the flexibility of having 2 FT’s is Son not somehow possible?
A bit of a cheeky punt, but will Robertson play against Villa seems like a prime game for a rest? You could punt on Havertz to Son and Robertson to Tsim. FH next week, not ideal for 38, but could work. Just a bit of a crazy thought.
Havertz and Mount to Son and Gordon could be a safer option.
Would love to get Son but that would mean losing 2 players for Son and a cheapie. Havertz would be my target for the chop. Will see what can be done
Will Richarlison be suspended if he gets another yellow? He is on 9. Or did they move up the bar to 15 yellows now?
The penalty for 10 yellows terminates after the teams 32nd game so that has no effect now.
What could be of more concern is his fitness. We need to watch out for news from Frank.
And then there is the underlying threat of a punishment for the flare incident. This is likely to be ruled as “thrown into a vacant area” and a fine will probably ensue. But get an adjudicator who had a bad night and it could conceivably result in a ban
