Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37

It’s yet another DGW, although this time will definitely be the last one this season, we all bloody well hope! It’s not quite as rangy as the one in 36 but it still has 12 games with 5 teams featuring twice and Man United not even bothering to turn up (*insert your own jokes here!).

It’s an odd one as we begin on Sunday to rightly allow the Saturday limelight to fall on the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool.

It means for a packed Sabbath with Spurs and Burnley kicking us off at 12.30pm. The newly popular 2pm slot then gets a proper hammering with no less than five games, before Everton and Brentford see us out at 4.30pm.

It’s then just the one on Monday as Newcastle welcome Arsenal at 8pm.

Likewise on Tuesday with Liverpool going to Saints at 7.45pm.

We get a rest on Wednesday…

The DGW teams come back to see us on Thursday with Everton playing Palace at 7.45pm and the clarets of Villa & Burnley and the blues of Chelsea & Leicester seeing us out at 8pm.

We then get two days off before the lot come at us again, all at once, at 4pm on Sunday, in the season finale.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 37 from all at FF247!

After lot of dilly-dally gave Ings(C) and Rich(V)….went wrong as Watkins started and no hope for something good in 2nd match as well.

I had so much going on yesterday that I completely missed that Salah got hurt. Probably doesn’t mean too much as I would have brought in KdB had I paid attention and he didn’t do much either. But pleased to wake up to find out that Vardy and Maddy had a blast today. And now captain Richy with a goal and an assist.

Fun fact – five Danes have been in play from Brentford today, of which two have provided returns good and two have been collecting cards (of which Nørgaard falls into both categories)

Really miss one of them cry

      • OddDane says:

That’s the one over at Leicester I presume smile

        • coys9 says:

Nah, Eriksen. We should’ve gone for him during the jan window. One of the major thing that we’re missing this season, that passing ability when teams park the bus

        • OddDane says:

Oh for Spurs, well not sure if Conte and him are the best match tbh and he hadn’t much to show for in form at the time – Brentford feels like a really smart move for both parties actually

        • coys9 says:

You gotta be kidding. Not the best match with Conte? They won the Serie A together and he played an important role too having started most of the matches from 2nd half of the season

        • OddDane says:

Well, they had a turbulent time together which ended well. It wasn’t initially Conte who brought him in and for large parts of his time he didn’t feel Eriksen fit into his 3-5-2 system (or whatever it was) – often seeing Eriksen benched when he was amongst their top players on payroll.

        • coys9 says:

You only have to wonder why Conte hasn’t played 3-5-2 at all at Spurs. We just lacked a proper AMC when it comes to matches against teams that plays a low block. I’ll be surprised if Conte doesn’t watch Brentford matches and thinking we could’ve use some of that quality passes this season

I’m not usually a of fan of Richarlson but he did me proud today! Had some rough weeks (months) in FPL but today was a much needed balm! Big shout to Smash for keeping me right!

A salutary tale for those who give up early doors. I’m facing a ridiculous chase in my ML and I almost certainly still won’t win it but I’ve just posted a 76 vs a 17. With 9 left including a Captain vs 7 left without. That’s a fair old swing in one GW and just goes to show what can be done. The moral of this particular chapter of Aesop’s Fables is simple…. don’t give up!

I’ve seen 50 points done in a GW on numerous occasions. Ofcourse everything needs to go your way. Sometimes it’s even more. Also depends how many players are different

    • 36.3

You may very well win it if your cappo does great.

I’m in a very similar position here. Just posted a 78 which is far and away my best weekly rank of the season and has pushed me up to 2nd in my cash mini league. Very timely indeed
