Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37
It’s yet another DGW, although this time will definitely be the last one this season, we all bloody well hope! It’s not quite as rangy as the one in 36 but it still has 12 games with 5 teams featuring twice and Man United not even bothering to turn up (*insert your own jokes here!).
It’s an odd one as we begin on Sunday to rightly allow the Saturday limelight to fall on the FA Cup Final between Chelsea and Liverpool.
It means for a packed Sabbath with Spurs and Burnley kicking us off at 12.30pm. The newly popular 2pm slot then gets a proper hammering with no less than five games, before Everton and Brentford see us out at 4.30pm.
It’s then just the one on Monday as Newcastle welcome Arsenal at 8pm.
Likewise on Tuesday with Liverpool going to Saints at 7.45pm.
We get a rest on Wednesday…
The DGW teams come back to see us on Thursday with Everton playing Palace at 7.45pm and the clarets of Villa & Burnley and the blues of Chelsea & Leicester seeing us out at 8pm.
We then get two days off before the lot come at us again, all at once, at 4pm on Sunday, in the season finale.

I need a midfielder that costs 6,6 or a forward that costs 8,0 less for this last gw. Was thinking kulusevski but someone who’s really a gamble would both more fun and well needed… It’s Gordon or Pukki out…
How about Brentford v Leeds for some excitement. The Bees are in form and LU still need to win their last game. Should be a few goals so I’m drawn to Toney/Mbuemo or Rodrigo/Raphinha
Midfielder route I feel. Barnes or kulusevski. I don’t see any forwards Toney I’d guess but it’s must win for Leeds
I need Robertson, Nketiah or White to be rested please. So I can have Barnes points from the bench.
Good chance that one of those will be rested.

Ok FPL final week. I was toying with some way out moves but currently I’m thinking more conservative. Coutinho & Barnes out (yes despite his score this week) to Son & Mane. Anything better? What do you think?
Not sure why you would take Barnes out. Coutinho makes sense

a) Coutinho -> Son
b) Watkins -> Kane
c) Cash -> Alonso
or any two or all three of these

I’ve envisaged getting in Diaz & Son, cos I think Pool are going to be all guns blazing this weekend (well, we’ll have to see what ‘appens on Thursday, won’t we???) and some Spurs coverage appears to be normal, as well as maintaining a strong contingent of Chelsea muppets for an easy fixture. Here tis:

Looks like a 5-3-2. Depends on how many FTs, really. KDB to Son, maybe? Wait for news on Salah, could easily use him instead of KDB to get Son.

Just thinking here – would it be worth a huge -8 hit to get in
Son+Vardy by shipping out Salah+Richo (would have downgrade Gordon to a 4.4 Mid, as I come up 0.2m short!!! Grinding of teeth!!!) ??? Or just as well to stick to one move, and not risk losing points on the last GW?
Oh and I’m really sad that Dennis Waterman has passed. Those of you who grew up in that period will remember him well! ;(

So heartbreaking, but from 8th in the last 2 seasons to 5th is still a huge improvement, especially with the youngest team in the league
