Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 5
The first midweek gameweek of the season and our matches are spread across three nights with a 6pm deadline on Tuesday (if you’re only just finding this out here, you’ve probably already missed it!).
Two matches kick off at 7.30pm with Fulham hosting Brighton at the Cottage and a London Derby between Crystal Palace and Brentford.
Chelsea go to Southampton for a 7.45pm kick off and then fifteen minutes later Leeds welcome Everton – where Frank Lampard is sure to get a raucous welcome after ‘Spygate’, which is rarely often forgotten.
Wednesday brings us five games across the same kick off pattern as Tuesday where we find Arsenal playing Aston Villa, Wolves heading to Bournemouth, City sharpening the bayonettes to cut through the Forest whilst West Ham host Spurs in our second London clash of the week. Lastly, ‘4-3’ memories evoked as Liverpool take on Newcastle at Anfield.
Thursday’s solitary fixture is now-revitalised Manchester United looking to put three wins together at Leicester.

Hello,
I think you have a solid team, and the players you have will be quite useful for the next few game weeks, so I can’t see any changes I would make.
One change you could make is with the goalkeeper – as Chelsea’s defence has not been that good, so you could change Mendy for Henderson or Sanchez and save some money for future trades.
That’s the only advice I have for the moment. Good luck! 😉
I would Captain Salah over Toney.
Sooner or later, Salah will explode, and a local derby against Everton seems a likely start – he scored 2 in the fixture last season, and 1 in the return at Anfield.

Already have Gros no obvious straight swap for 6.3
Who would you need to use if you benched him and saved the FT? I’d hold James.
You have Harrison from Leeds at 6.1mln if you were OK doubling up.

Hello lads. I broke the top 100k after this round which I’m over the moon about. Sitting at 99k.
I have 2Ft and 1mil ITB.
1. Thinking ederson out for another keeper (Henderson good fixtures) so I can bring in Silva.
2. I could do the same keeper swap and bring in Kulusevski.
3. Could also just go with Rodrigo to a Leeds player and I like Sinisterra.
