Feast or famine
We hope you like your football ‘Saturday heavy’! This may be a ‘DGW’ of sorts, and as such there are 11 fixtures, but 8 of them are on Saturday, with 3 in the 3 days that follow.
Villa and Brighton kick us off at 12.30pm. That is then followed by no less than six 3pm games; Bournemouth v Arsenal, Everton v Luton, Man Utd v Palace, Newcastle v Burnley, West Ham v Sheffield Utd and Wolves v Man City. If that wasn’t enough excitement then Spurs and Liverpool face-off at 5.30pm.
It’s then slow and sedentary each day. Sunday sees Brentford at Palace at 2pm. On Monday at 8pm we have Fulhham v Chelsea and then the ‘DGW’ concludes our weekend on Tuesday at 7.30pm, as Luton welcome Burnley.

Maybe it’s time to start thinking outside the box and forget about this permanent Haaland (C)
Ivan, I c Morris this week. Was risky but paid off with 1 more game to go. Absolute rollercoaster ride last 2 gws. Had a terrible last gw and didn’t have watkins this gw but double Newcastle defense incl trippier and morris c plus holding saka makes this a decent gw. Need to get rid of rash and onana though.
In the next 7-8 games, there is scope to not always C Haaland especially away games.
Reg, I did a last minute WC this morning, literally 45 minutes before the deadline. Included Morris and Gordon who have small returns. It pains to say as a Man U fan that regretting keeping Bruno and glad got rid of Rash and Onana. There is definitely something going on behind the scenes in this club and hope it’s sorted out soon.
Now it’s time to see what Son and Salah can bring. Bringing them on a WC means both blank
