Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek DGW34

What should have been a normal GW is now another protracted one with the addition of a DGW for both Chelsea and Man Utd meaning that we go all the way through until Thursday once more.

We begin on Saturday with Arsenal hosting the aforementioned United at 12.30pm before Villa go to Leicester at 3pm along with Man City extending their lead at the top of the league (and probably their goal difference too) against Watford and Newcastle making the long trip to Norwich, for seemingly no good reason. Saturday then ends with Brentford welcoming Spurs at 5.30pm.

Sunday sees a buch of 2pm games again with Brighton v Saints, Burnley v Wolves and Chelsea v West Ham. Liverpool will claw City back at 4.30pm, doubtless along with that goal difference as they look to further bury Everton.

Palace and Leeds do battle on Monday at 8pm and then we wait until Thursday for Man Utd and Chelsea to see us out.

  4. Wanted Robo on my WC, but could not fit. Instead picked Laprte, a swing of 13 points…damn !

  5. Fantastic surprise from Robertson drinks

    • Surely would have picked him, this CHE DGW ruined that. Then 3 CHE players returned = 3*2+3+0 = 9 points and now UTD match to go. Robertson got 15 points alone.

      • Yes indeed, the usual DGW trap. I jumped on the bandwagon and captained Mount. At least we have one more chance and something to look for.

      • Hey people – I see we all went down a similar road! Have 67 -8 pts, with Mount, James (hopefully for the 2nd match!) & Alonso to go. The discussion the other day with Smash pushed me over the line to do it, so it’s a relative victory, as am up by 2pts, with the 2nd Chelsea game to go. Also, Alonso came in for Doherty, so wouldn’t have scored anything if I hadn’t traded him out. Hope all is well and speak to you anon! Cheerio, AJW smile

        • P.S. my defence has scored 31points so far, including Cancelo. The other useless donkeys have picked up the rest. I guess we’ve gotta hold strong on the Spurs assets for the last few GWs, as there is likely to be a reaction from them, with all the kerfuffle regarding 4th place! What a funny old year! 😉
