The New Year is here, but don’t worry GW17 is bound to disappoint you in the same ways the previous 16 gameweeks did in 2020. Everton and West Ham get it rolling with the early Friday game and Manchester United hosts Villa in the second and last game of the day.
Saturday brings us four more fixtures. Spurs welcome in Leeds, Palace gets 3 easy points vs Sheffield, Brighton tangles with Wolves and in the last game we see Championship contenders West Brom play Arsenal.
Sunday gives us three more matchups. Burnley play Fulham, Toon take on Leicester and then Chelsea duke it out with City.
Monday sees the last remaining fixture when Saints take on Liverpool.

Given the treasures buried deep on my bench I wouldn’t be devastated to see the game called off but one can only have a certain amount of luck.

I suppose us fortunate enough to be in stable relationships forget how lonesome it can be to be single. Must be terrible now, in semi-lockdown.
It would have been a lot worse for him had his predilections strayed into slightly more recondite areas. But for all that I loathe the tabloids for exposing this sort of thing. It’s about as public interest as my toe nails.
The breach of restrictions will presumably will land him in hot water.

I was thinking of keeping Adams for the DGW but unsure of anything nowadays. Maybe Justin, as you mentioned, to Stones this week and then Kane & Podence to Bamford & KDB next week. I’ll take my time though.

Bamford, Watkins and Wood also play doubles. Wood may not be a good replacement, but Bamford probably is.

Looks really good. Definitely save FH. There will be many rainy days ahead. Maybe Justin/Adams to Dias/Wilson? Would give you 10 for GW18. Then your FT for GW19 gives you 8 doubles plus Son,Kane,DCL. But don’t do anything until we’ve got FA3 out of the way!

I’d just tart the side up with a bit of City, if they’re playing by then. A defender maybe or a quick fling with KdB or Sterling (if not losing too much value in Salah).

I know with covid we talk about having a good bench, but I don’t think you need such a strong set of subs. I’d suggest downgrading Coady to Mitchell perhaps. Watkins to fodder. Maybe try and get Siggy to Rashford. You’d still have subs in case of cancellation.

It’s an option, only concern would be possible rotation with Cavani. Cavani’s first game back happens to be BGW. Martial may be one to monitor.

Nothing wrong with it but probably downgrade one of your defenders to Mitchel and swap Siggy (as he is a bit of a rotating risk) to e.g Grealish/Neto/James or even inform Saka. Or maybe downgrade one more player and upgrade Siggy to Rashford, as leeboy suggested.

My current team is below and it looks as though I’d benefit from playing my FH for gw 18. I’m going to wait as long as possible though in case of anymore postponements. However, I currently have 11 DGW players and could get 12 with my FT, 13 if I take a hit. Worth the BB in this case for gw 19?

I prob would then bb as things stand as you could upgrade your sub keeper and a defender easily with that money.
