The New Year is here, but don’t worry GW17 is bound to disappoint you in the same ways the previous 16 gameweeks did in 2020. Everton and West Ham get it rolling with the early Friday game and Manchester United hosts Villa in the second and last game of the day.
Saturday brings us four more fixtures. Spurs welcome in Leeds, Palace gets 3 easy points vs Sheffield, Brighton tangles with Wolves and in the last game we see Championship contenders West Brom play Arsenal.
Sunday gives us three more matchups. Burnley play Fulham, Toon take on Leicester and then Chelsea duke it out with City.
Monday sees the last remaining fixture when Saints take on Liverpool.

Having second thoughts on FH18 / BB19
However this is my potential FH team vs Current team, (I’ve got 11 for DGW atm)
With 1 ft & 0 ITB what should I do.
If I’m FH18 how’s this potential team look?

I think you’ll get away with it.
Maybe squeeze an Arsenal player in there, or a sneaky Salah to KdB or something like that.
A City player gets you close to my bullshit ‘critical core’.

I was thinking if so, my next transfer ideally needs to play IN both BGW18 and appear in both games in the DGW19

Yes that’s what I’m saying.
I have to decide whether or not to drop Salah for 18 – for Son, in my case – but given that it will cost me a fortune to get him back (which I will be doing immediately) I may just keep him and tremble behind the sofa and hope it works out.
KdB seems a pretty good captain option for 18.

I’m on 30 Gavy. Have a few to go but would prefer the points on the board. Hoping for a big score from Kdb with Cancelo also returning. A Chelsea win is prob preferable

Cant decide between Adams or Watkins for wk 19.
Both same price & with similar points. Adams maybe edges it on fixtures, but I already have JWP so is it better to “spread it around” given the possibility of games being cancelled.

His minutes are still being managed. Don’t know how many minutes he gets in DGW. Highly unlikely to be full 180.
Hmmm might give him a miss if he’s not gonna play full games. Got soucek to cover West ham in anycase
If planning to BB in GW19, can I also use the FT available or is it the case of using the FT or only BB? Is this a situation of only using one or the other? There’s no clear cut explanation of this in the rules. Any suggestions?
If you want to BB 19 you need to WC now (for 18) then can bb 19. This would be very difficult to map out thought

U can use ur ft or two if you have it. If you have played fh in 18, you will only have ur gw19 ft.
