Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 20
After a GW that somehow managed to drag the Christmas schedule into mid-January and past the FA Cup 3rd round, due to a mini-DGW, we now land on another DGW, this one with a few more teams involved, well ok 2 more, but it’s something….

Just to complicate matters it’s a Friday start with Villa and Leeds getting us under way.

The 1st of our DGW teams kick Saturday off with the Manchester derby at 12.30 before we then have Brighton very much welcoming Liverpool, Everton fearing the Saints, Forest and Leicester continuing the relegation theme and Wolves wearing down West Ham, all at 3pm. Brentford and Bournemouth round us off at 5.30, in probably the least enticing game of the lot to televise!

On Sunday we have Chelsea vs Palace along with Newcastle vs Fulham at 2pm, before the NLD at 4.30. All 3 should be decent.

The doubles themselves take place on Wednesday and Thursday with Palace welcoming Man Utd (let’s hope it’s not foggy again…) on the former day and Spurs going to Man City on the latter.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 20 from all at FF247!

Remarkable that I have zero points as no players played but green arrows in most of my mini leagues.

1-1? How was that not offside.

      Special Agent Dale Cooper says:

Seems silly that in the rules running onto a through ball is not considered interfering with play.

Like when the striker is offside but a defender touches the ball, cause he has to due to the strikers presence, then the goal is given. Rules around offside desperately need an adjustment.

What shocks me more is all the commentators agreeing that it should be given?! How is running over the ball not interfering with play? If he hadn’t been there the defence would easily handle the situation. Ridiculous decision. And I’m a neutral btw.

      • Reg83 says:

This was the original offside decision earlier which is the correct way of giving offside. All these new interfering play offsides are ridiculous. U touch the ball, its offside, u don’t touch the ball its not offside. This is how it used to be called. So in this case, they ve gone with the old interpretation of offside. Which i feel was the correct rule.
