FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
‘Tis a weekend of three derbies in the Premier League and we are underway on Saturday lunchtime with the Merseyside variety (What? Liverpool? Saturday luncthime? After an international break?) – taking place at Anfield with Everton hopping over Stanley Park.
At 3pm, Simon and the boys (TM Init) host half of the weekend’s card with Bournemouth v Wolves, Brentford hosting Burnley, Manchester City v Brighton (which, why aren’t you on the TV?), Palace long-hauling upto the Tyne and Forest welcoming Luton.
Our second derby of the weekend sees London’s West meet North as Chelsea play Arsenal at the Bridge.
Sheffield United v Manchester United sees out a phenomenal Saturday’s action at Brammall Lane.
Take the rubbish to the dump, give the grass the final cut of the year, fix the dripping tap (or speak to the family if you are really desperate) as we don’t have any PL action until 4.30pm when Aston Villa play West Ham United. That’s our one and only.
The gameweek ends with a London Derby in N17 where Spurs lay out the welcome mat for Fulham. Monday at 8pm.

Fantasy Football 247 League Codes:
Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/24.
Douglas Luis is a steal at 5.4. Could swap out Diaby for him to do the Maddison to Saka move 2ft.
4 yellow cards (for context) but yeah he’s involved.
Not bad moves. Diaby looks good but not getting the returns. I am giving diaby at home to luton and will then see whether to keep or sell.
Yeah Watkins could have scored an early goal which would have been a Diaby assist today.
Could be time for the WC…
47 points with just Son left to play.
What’s your team looking like?
Pre or post WC transfers?..
I’ll post this GW and also my current squad with WC active, pretty much just got players who were close to or rising.
Yeah, I can see why you are WCing. Good luck with dumping the big man, although you definitely aren’t alone in that!
Outstanding week so far! Maybe my best week ever climbing in rank anyway. 15 bonus points from 6 and still have Son and Udogie to play. Just over the moon this gameweek!
Nice one ODT. Hope for a good show from Spurs’ lads. Chance to make a century.
Cheers! Got my fingers crossed for a brace or more from Son.
Top darts there
68 with Son, Udogie and PP left to play. Hope Spurs don’t slip the CS. Watkins and Bowen look a must now. Fingers crossed for a Son brace.
Thoughts on this team for next week?
2.7M ITB, and 2 FTs.
Do I risk one more week without Haaland, or move some pieces to get him back?
Thanks all!
Yes
That was really just me being a cheeky American. I’m unsure how you have been doing without Haaland TBH. I feel like he’s maybe in a sophomore slump but still a must have. He’s going to score period.
Haaland does beat up on the weaker teams. The 3 games he hasn’t scored were against Newcastle, Wolves and Arsenal.
City’s upcoming 8 games are tougher than there first 8. A calculated risk to go without and worth thinking about
Can’t decide between Son and Saka moving forwards. Anybody else debating this?
I did Saka to Son this week and instantly wanted to change it back. Hopefully he does good tonight
Don’t own neither of them, scary.
Was thinking Madison to Saka
If I had the funds, this is the move I’d make
