Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 9
‘Tis a weekend of three derbies in the Premier League and we are underway on Saturday lunchtime with the Merseyside variety (What? Liverpool? Saturday luncthime? After an international break?) – taking place at Anfield with Everton hopping over Stanley Park.
At 3pm, Simon and the boys (TM Init) host half of the weekend’s card with Bournemouth v Wolves, Brentford hosting Burnley, Manchester City v Brighton (which, why aren’t you on the TV?), Palace long-hauling upto the Tyne and Forest welcoming Luton.
Our second derby of the weekend sees London’s West meet North as Chelsea play Arsenal at the Bridge.
Sheffield United v Manchester United sees out a phenomenal Saturday’s action at Brammall Lane.
Take the rubbish to the dump, give the grass the final cut of the year, fix the dripping tap (or speak to the family if you are really desperate) as we don’t have any PL action until 4.30pm when Aston Villa play West Ham United. That’s our one and only.
The gameweek ends with a London Derby in N17 where Spurs lay out the welcome mat for Fulham. Monday at 8pm.

How essential do we think Watkins is? I have two FT to play with so could do Hojlund & Diaby to Watkins & a 5.5 mid. If you think this needs doing who’s the best mid?
1) Palmer – tough fixtures, but maybe on pens
2) Adingra – lovely fixtures, but are mins safe?
3) Jenson – chasing points?
4) Douglas Luiz – nice fixtures, maybe on pens
5) Hee Chan – ??!

I think Watkins is a great pick for the next 3 weeks in particular. I would go Adingra when with the mins worry. March being injured does help him though.

Basically what do you think is the next best time to WC? I don’t think my team needs it this week so I’m trying to pick it in my head and have an eye on a possible week but want to see what others say

Had 13/15 players with home games and bench was tsimikas burn diaby and areola. Felt no one was benchable. And never have success with bb so thought try it now. Had i not played bb i may have started diaby and benched bowen also. Got 15 extra pts. Not too bad.
