Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Arsenal v West Ham United
Don’t have Abua, going to be a hard game to watch!
I have him but put the armband on Bruno.
Squeaky bum time
Couple of goals and an assist would be nice. And then in the 2nd half……
Formation
0-2 it’s all over.
I need Bruno to score to save my GW, I sold Auba for him and KdB!
No thanks.
This Lindelof is such a crap. He caused the first goal and the two penalties
Agree…garbage.
And, Donny debuted with a goal.
Perfect goal for those who don’t own United assets, and have Mitchell on the bench.
Mitchell assist huh….
:suicide:
Is Rodríguez likely to go up in price tonight? If so would have to do Bruno >> Rodríguez now, and then my other transfer after all matches have finished. Possibly planning to do Wilson >> Jesus to get into that City attack, would have 0.0 to spare so can’t afford any price changes. Other options are Jimenez, Calvert Lewin, Richarlison (can decide that later). Anyone see any better moves or do these make sense?
Bruno to Rodriguez did I read that correctly
Yes you did
United look absolutely shit, Rodriguez looks very good and has good fixtures
Taking Bruno out after one game is not for me so I’ll see if anyone else wants to comment veer.
I’d rather have Bruno than James!
Veer, very wrong move.
Bruno was excellent, everything was going through him. United were just unlucky. Give him another chance. If there is one to go, that is Auba after tonight.
Were we watching the same game LOL
United did not seem unlucky to me, rather just very poor all around. Thank you for the suggestion though, will see how Auba performs tonight
Veer, not necessary poor. Watch pool tomorrow as well.
My prediction is that they might find it hard to stay in top 4 this season. Conceding 3 goals at Anfield from newbies Leeds was the sign
Thank you for the feedback Smash, GP, and Gear, haven’t played FPL in a couple seasons so my decision making might not be the best 😎
How else would you suggest getting Rodriguez into my team? Could upgrade Saint-Maximin, but would have to lose TAA which I think could be a very bad move
Of your mids, Auba would be the one. He historically doesn’t do well against the ‘big’ teams – Liverpool are next!
Though to get KDB or Sterling you probably need to use Auba’s funds too!
Not like Auba didn’t just score against Liverpool in the community shield, 2 against Chelsea in the FA cup final, and 2 against City in the semis
In the PL historically…no edit button!! :mosking:
Not that he won’t score here and there but Arsenal have three awkward away matches coming up – PEA to Rodriguez might make sense short term but either way, I’d wait out the rest of the week’s fixtures as you could theoretically move three players out for him so there’s plenty of wriggle room.
Imagine if people took out Mitrovic after his 1 pointer in GW 1.
You’re on the right track.
1st wc with 0.8 itb. Might do robbo to Chelsea defender in their new keeper is any good
He seems taller than Kepa
That was a very painful watch.
Palace looked good but United looked beyond awful. Took the 2nd goal going in for any sort of change in tempo and a bit of urgency but too little too late.
