Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Someone talk me out of doing Havertz and MSM to Rodriguez and Zaha for a 4PH please (I don’t normally take hits)
I have Werner and DCL already (Everton fixtures are so good and they playing well)
Just did Havertz to Rodriguez before the price change with my free
I’m debating that move. I get to see how Havertz is again today and then I’ll decide. It’s West Brom so hopefully he shows something
I would’ve held Havertz. Chelsea face WBA next. I’m not too sold on Zaha either. Utd were awful yesterday. May be the worst I’ve seen in a long time. Defence was all over the place. Both the goals were due to clear def mistakes. Just my opinion
3 actually. And Lindelof was involved in all of these 3. :hippo:
I meant 02 goals from Zaha.
P.S. I you wanna get in Zaha, now’s the time.
If*
DCL bandwagon in full speed, already increased to 7.2
I was one of them. I know yesterday was a once off, but a mid priced forward with a good run. Hard to say no
I’m not his biggest fan but he’s scoring the points. About to catch the Everton highlights as that’s the only game I missed
Some players with higher xG than Fernandes so far this yesterday
Livermore
Ayew
Reid (Bobby)
Bowen
Keane
Townsend
Nketiah (13 mins played)
Smash – whats your United assets plan over the next number of weeks? They were quite poor yesterday
I have Martial. It did not pay off this week but I think I’m ok with that going forward. He’s the player in the box the most. Not sure how much of a trend it will be but Bruno dropped deep when VDB came on. Will be interesting to see that going forward as I don’t want to rely on pens. Also if they go out and sign Sancho that will help Martial. If they don’t sign anyone Greenwood will be worth having but I’d expect them to sign someone
I had Calvert lewin all week then I transferred him out for wilson at the last minute, this gameweek has been a disaster class smh
That’s wildcards though for you. We all do that and consider everyone. Would not beat yourself up about it
For what it’s worth, Wilson will get you more over the long term
not sure about that Swirly. DCL is overachieving atm – but he was good pre-lockdown as well and Wilson has been very average the last couple of years
I think DCL will outscore Wilson personally as like what others said and I was wrong because of the service he will get
Morning all!
Used one of my transfers for Auba to Rodriguez last night before what I thought would be the latter going up in price! Going to wait and see until tomorrow night after today and tomorrow’s games to see what to do next, with KDB or Sterling being one dilemma and the other on whether to take a hit and use some of the remaining cash on upgrading elsewhere.
Sounds good. I held off on Rodriguez as want to see if Havertz starts to look more comfortable but might make that move if he looks awful today. I hope not as Havertz has West Brom
