Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Hey Constantine. Check out my drafts on post 156.1.
Which one do you prefer?
Neilos. I like your first draft. Wolves have good fixtures ahead
Cheers! how’s your draft coming along?
Neilos. Nothing confirmed yet. But, thinking of getting both KDB abd Sterling along with Mane.
That sounds beastly! how you gonna squeeze them in?
You just locking in son? Or waiting on bales price?
Waiting for Bale to pitch in. Might get both. Decent coming fixtures.
Isn’t Bale injured for a month?
Is he? No idea
He is
Wow. ok, give us a few mins to tinker on your behalf
All set yet?
Wood could be Mitro/Maupay. Don’t like the Bamford pick.
A GK could be downgraded for more funds. Castagne could be an upgrade in def.
I like the mid range options like Zaha, Townsend, Trossard, Pereira and Klich. A 3-5-2/3-4-3 rotational style setup could be good (i.e. a decent third striker and fifth mid).
Dane, are trying to avoid the herd? Where is Rodriguez :laugh2:
I think DCL is both his and Rich’s play-up, so he might do for cover. Also thought about Maupay instead of DCL and upgrade Townsend… Too many good mids this year
How’s your draft looking?
I haven’t started yet. Will wait to see what Pep has cooked for tomorrow and will take it from there.
If you start today you might get price rises though (e.g. JRod), but I’m also waiting to see City as I initially wanted to wait until gw6-gw8
Don’t know Dane. The way things are going at the moment, I wouldn’t be surprised if another lockdown happens soon and the season gets interrupted again :unknw:
ugh. let’s hope not!
Havertz off for Tomori
yikes, he’ll be dropping tonight then…
Havertz actually looked much better than last game. Now, its a decision time what to do…next match is WBA and they already conceded 8 in 2 matches.
Love when a plan works, Son to Bruno in gw2 :big-lol:
MANE!!!
Sold mane this gw for Kdb ….
Maneeeeeeeeee
Maneeeeeereeee- 02.
Gimme a hell yeah..
