Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Son set to rise back to 9.0 tonight, oy the irony
Well, my planned transfer was Auba for Sterling/KdB, but now it involves getting rid of ASM, Adams and/or Bissouma…
Any ideas? a hit is likely, yes.
And Adams looks likely to drop today
Dane,
You have cover in defence as a sub if required so I’d let Bissouma sit third until his suspension is up.
I think ASM is more pressing then Adams due to the injury so Aubameyang & ASM out for whichever two.
Adams could wait another week I think.
Do we know how long Saint-Maximin may be out for?
I certainly have no clue (as is generally my state of awareness), but you raise a fair point. Maybe leave him be, hmm…
Doherty and Saint-Maximin to Lamptey and Rodriguez good moves? Can’t afford if Rodriguez goes up in price tonight.
Cheers

Unless you just do ASM to someone about 6.0mln? Lots of nice options there.
63 with just ramsdale left. Not the best week
But not the worst either. The average (so far) is 48pts, so 63pts looks pretty good to me!
55 – 4 with nobody left. Stop the butchery…I’m the real victim here .
Sorry if u saw this already.
Guys I’m having a mare of a week with 32(-4) with just kdb to play. Thinking of bringing in son and Taylor for havertz and Shaw or Davies for a hit. What do ye reckon.
I just activated my wildcard. I need to take way too many hits to create a decent team. Hard for me to give advise to anyone.
I know the feeling bud. I may just a hit now and if it doesn’t work out I’ll definitely be activating my wc.
Are these reasons good enough to do WC this week? Gw1+Gw2 = 79 points (my worst start ever) and facing the below issues/semi-issues.
(1) Bissouma RC (will drop a lot in 1 month),
(2) Lamptey (injured) – probably will shake off, but fixture is not good
(3) Havertz (going to drop),
(4) Dier (non-performer) – has heavy rotation risk next week
(5) McCarthy (Non-performer) and KWP (no CS possibility) – lost trust on Saints def. , Ok to hold KWP though
(6) no man city player – originally planned to bring in Gw3 selling Auba
(7) no Salah – not sure whether to get him
(8) no Son – has a minor rotation risk, but looks better than many
(9) no Justin (though he had fluke performance in 2 gws) – not too keen
(10) no Wolves player (Saiss, Podence, Jimenez etc.) – has a good run of fixture
(11) Harrison – will miss Gw4
(12) Wilson – Hit and miss
I say go for it. I just did.
I’ll be cashing and trying to make a stable team .
On that note it is your decision. I did it because it feels good. I want a fresh start.
GM. Good enough reasons. Go for it, i would say.
