Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2.
Well after an eventful start to the fantasy season we look to settle down a bit with a full set of fixtures and not that blankety blank stuff. Evoking memories of chequebooks and pens.
The very popular Everton assets get us going when they welcome West Brom for a lunchtime kickoff. That is followed by three other Saturday fixtures, Leeds vs Fulham, Man U and Mr. Penalty host Palace and Arsenal take on the all but relegated West Ham, all neatly spaced out so we can sit for about half the day in front of the TV.
Sunday gives us four more games, also kindly spread out, so much so that no two games ever coincide. Saints welcome Spurs in the early one and that is followed by Toon vs Brighton. In the best game on paper Chelsea and their Bundesliga attack take on the champs and the day is closed out when Leicester tangle with Burnley.
Monday brings an interesting contrast in fixtures. One to bore us and hopefully one to entertain us. The Villains play host to Sheffield Utd in the opening game in a likely snoozefest, but hopefully Wolves playing City makes up for it in the late game.
The games in full…

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Manchester City
This guy doesn’t start? :big-lol:
This City bench looks… strange. Or rather unfamiliar.
Why do I feel pensive??Oh I remember..last season!
General thoughts on Podence for ASM? *sent from GW2 Sin Bin…
I’m keeping a close eye, especially now Jota has gone. There’s quite a few I’m keeping an eye on tonight!
Well didn’t look too shabby to me! 5.5 straight swap with ASM and decent fixtures..
What a boring game….really frustrating to watch.
What do you guys think about Dunne’s playing time? Will we see him on a regular basis? Or is he gone when tarkowski is back?
It’s a risk but Burnley have a very small squad. If they did sell Tarkowski to West Ham then his chance is obviously improved but I think Mee and Long are both ahead of him.
Still think Mitchell is a better bet.
Is Mitchell safe long term? Pre season I seem to remember Ferguson was the safer long term bet. Is that not the case any more?
He looked pretty smart this weekend against You’n I Ted. Maybe the 4.0 gem of 2020 /2021?
Mitchell has the jersey just now. Long term perhaps not yet but still probably safest. Can’t count Ferguson as he’s injured. Assuming you need the 4.0 to play from time to time.
I’m on a WC, so if there’s a 4.0 starter I’m all over that. I don’t wanna be wasting a sub on him later though if he stops playing.
You’d be doing well to get a 4.0 until the end of the season.
Mahrez over JRod was a smart decision.
Init now has PoA over my team, at least for the next few weeks while my knees settle down.
Vinagre subbed on for Marcal – anyone still have him?
Kdb! I needed that
