FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek1
FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek1
We hope you enjoyed your break from all things football… apart from the Club World Cup, the Women’s Euros, the pre-season tours, the tin pot cups, etc, etc. You get the picture. Anyway, we are back to FPL this week, so let’s go take a look at what this week’s menu is serving up…
Well, it’s a 4 dayer for starters, and a Friday deadline only really raises one question, in true Jason Cundy stylie… ‘Haaaas anyone seen Raz?!?!’
Liverpool and Bournemouth do the honours on Friday at 8pm (6.30pm deadline……..)
Villa and Newcastle get Saturday underway at 12.30pm, with Brighton v Fulham, Sunderland v West Ham and Spurs v Burnley following at 3pm. Wolves and Man City conclude us at 5.30pm.
2pm on Sunday sees Chelsea host Palace and Brentford visit Forest. Man Utd v Arsenal is the 1st Super Sunday offering at 4.30pm.
Leeds return to PL action on Monday at 8pm with Everton and Jack the Lad the visitors.
The games in full…
Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.
Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 1 from all at FF247!

Glad I went for Wood, it looks like he will be one of the set and forget again this seson
Good call Ivan.
Certainly not a bad pick by any means, well done.
Congrats Ivan. He was in my very first drafts but dropped him after he got zero goals in preseason and also zero goals in I think his last epl games before the summer. Of course today he already scored 2. Lol.
I meant his last 6 epl games before summer.
Great start for Wood. I had thought that last season was not repeatable for him but maybe it is
Well done Ivan!
My only regret is that couldn’t fit one of Murillo, Milenkovic or Neco but we can’t have them all.
He won’t be playing Brentford every week!
Watkins now an easy Captain contender for next GW.
Same. The guy took me 60+ in this GW.
Crystal Palace still really strong. Not just preseason. Were it not for their first fixtures l would probably own 2 or even 3.
They are really well organised. Might be a problem if they lose Eze and Guehi in the next 2 weeks
Would love to get rid of Palmer. He takes up so much of the budget with so many worthy players out there.
What do you guys think? How’s he looking?
Never been a fan of him and was forced by FOMO to have him. He is going to go out very soon in a combo to bring in Gyokeres who could be the next must have player.
All of CHE look rather lame…J. Pedro could be out too. Hope Wirtz comes good. He was not that involved in box touches.
It’s GW1 lads. Have some patience!
Think Liverpool should really improve at midfield and defense with Gravenbergh returning
Chill

Not happy with my first gameweek. Lol.
Same here mate. Hopefully we will soon be on the up and up!
It is what it is. Just the first gameweek.
BB has me on 83. No one left to play, I’m happy with that result.
Congrats mate. Really great score. Think I’ll end up with 54. Which doesn’t sound that bad. But expected way more. Need to keep trusting my team. Might do Watkins to the Arsenal forward though for a weekly punt versus Leeds. But need to see the Leeds and Arsenal games first.
That sounds a fine score mate.
Well done.
So confused. Been listening to talksport on and off. They were saying earlier that onana has been left out of the squad. Tuned in just after the goal and they were saying how onana palmed it in to his own goal or something. Then went on to say it was clear from pre season that onana isn’t good enough and he’s proved it again here today?
That’s how bad he is, makes mistakes when he’s not even playing.
I stopped reading at “Talksport”.
Their weather says its raining and I still look out the window.
