Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2017-18
The International break is here and it is of course time for another edition of Bore Off! This time we have given the 3 Amigos a break and found their possible replacements in the near future. 😉 Bry is welcomed in, many of you know him from his other work on the site or perhaps you have seen him busking on the tube in Japan. Banjo also joins us, luckily for him we have only asked him to answer questions and not make the coffee. However, I would still keep my distance as he answers, for your own safety. Last and least (according to FPL) is Smash, who we have asked as a form of therapy for him. Hey, let us get on with it and see what The Last SamuBry, Wilshere x8 and Hulk Smash have to say about their seasons so far and what is to come.

Morning everyone. 2 FTs and 0.4ITB. In no rush but thinking maybe just miki to David Silva providing Ritchie recovers. Any other suggestions?
Hi Milbs, seems perfectly sensible that. What’s the story with Ritchie? Is he likely to be back for the next game?
Alright Init. There’s little been said to be honest; my understanding is that his withdrawal from the Scotland team was just a precaution but realistically I think/hope it’s just to keep him fresh for our games.
isn’t this a game Scotland have to win?
As far as I’m aware it is Cookie.
In which case I would be amazed if he is putting Newcastle’s next few games over World Cup Finals qualification.
It does seem a bit strange but his withdrawal has been reported in the media as precautionary.
I don’t think he’s rated up there much though. Doesn’t seem to start an awful lot so it may be a case of having a slight tweek and not wanting Scott Brown to decapitate him in training just so he can sit on the bench. Much better off wrapped in cotton wool at home with a greg’s pasty and fog on the tyne on repeat.
14 international caps since he made his debut back in March ’15. I think you might be right Milburn.
No-one can argue with a bit of Greggs
Great stuff guys. Sound advice from you guys in several key issues. Good points on the FPL front too. Best of luck for you all, including you Bry, granted I win.
Morning all, great article once again!
What are your thoughts on the below: (I currently have Kane, Lukaku and Morata upfront)
Salah > Coutinho (Free up some money)
Morata > Jesus (For a -4 hit)
Planning on holding off as long as possible to hear Morata news but will need to make the move if any price changes.
Couldn’t really argue with those I don’t think. Alternatives are to get Batman or Vardy I guess and I’d rather have Jesus.
Has something happened to Lukaku or is it a glitch on FFFix? They’re predicting he wont score any points in the next 5 weeks. I know they put a load of work in but their suggestions have been ridiculously off this season.
Nothing has happened to suggest that he wont score any points over the next five weeks
They had him down as injured so they got rid of all his points, as they have done with Aguero and Morata.
Their points per week normally average out pretty well to be fair to them in the long run (5 weeks or so).
hello guys,
entertaining article as usual.
btw do you have any stats about how many women are being attracted to the site by includnig the question related to the outlook of Giroud? must be a reason that you are always asking it 😛
We have posters of Olivier on the office walls!!
oh.. that certainly justifies it.
When I took the job years back, I was told in no uncertain terms that Giroud had to make the article every time. 😉
you must have been offered serious money, considering you took the job 😉
Thoughts on this potential WC squad?
Prob easier to see here
Strong that Cookie. If Hazard hits form then you could be off to a flyer with others struggling to fit him in. Are you planning on changing between 433 and 343?
Thanks Milburn. It’s not set in stone – I’ve just created another with Cedric, Sterling and Erik in for Luiz, Hazard and Rich! That would mean no Chelsea.
I guess I’d play 4-3-3 most of the time as Leicester’s fixtures are pretty good.
i like the way how you squeezed Hazard in and you also have a strong defense.
wouldn’t you consider Bellerin instead of Luiz?
dawids, I’d consider anything although I trust Chelsea more than I do Arsenal.
fair enough, you will have more CS with Chelsea but Bellerin’s potential in terms of attacking point is just huge.
anyway it’s an 50/50 for me
one assist this season for Bellerin……fixtures are ok for 3 weeks then get very mixed…..
