Grab, Avoid or Bore Off! – Fantasy Premier League 2018-19
Oh yeah, with FPL back that also means ‘Bore off’ returns. I have went back to that old well and gathered the 3 amigos up for you to get their thoughts on some of the questions that we all want answered as the season draws closer.
For those that don’t know them or don’t know them well, let me introduce you to them.
Init is one of our site owners, he enjoys being a disciplinarian, hates typos and those with a lack of attention to detail. He also would prefer to not take walks on the beach and is not fond of puppies. Other than that, he is a great guy.
Cookie is also a site owner. He lives in Monaco, enjoys laying on the beach and taking pictures while he drinks his wine. He doesn’t like to hear about the details and enjoys typos.
Kop also a site owner and overall grouch, might be last on this list, but he is certainly not least, in particular in the grumpy category. If you ever need a pick me up, look somewhere else!!

It’s been a busy summer already with Arsenal, Everton, West Ham and Chelsea appointing new managers, Manchester City adding to their already dominant squad, Man Utd continuing to splash the cash and Liverpool trying to protect Karius by beefing up their midfield. Spurs may even have a new home soon.
And FPL wise, this is the place to discuss strategy, learn about the promoted teams and their players while in the days and weeks to come we’ll have plenty of articles, interviews, player analysis, Bore Offs, Tips, etc, etc.
So be sure to get involved in the discussions, the RMTs and the banter as we look forward to another season of Fantasy fun!

Our Regulars League* for 2018/19 is now open and has a cash prize pool of £300 paid directly to the winners from the FF247 management team. The first 5 places are paid out in a tiered system.
To enter this one you need to be an active and recognised site member and you need to e-mail us for the league code – elleffcee@gmail.com
*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Haha. Good article. Good shout on lookman. 10 starts and 11 subs 955 mins. 7 goals and 3 assists. That scores 75 points not including any clean sheets or bonus points in the equivalent of 9.5 games. 5.5 mil. Yep he’s one to watch in pre season.
Allison to Liverpool looking likely now
People making fun of LFC for paying a huge amount. Yet so many people don’t give them credit for buying Salah last season for a ridiculously low amount in hindsight. As I saw someone say on twitter, Just pretend they bought Allison for what they paid for Salah and vice versa. There the problem is fixed.
I don’t think prices really matter now as long as you buy the right player. Liverpool need a decent keeper and he appears to be that. Prices are so crazy and out of control now you can buy a complete flop for 30 million.
I agree Mito, but why didn’t they go to Burnley and buy Heaton for 20m. He’s a better stopper than Allison, or equal, just not as good ‘playing out’.
