International break time always means a Bore Off.

I have gathered three of my esteemed colleagues and have asked them to answer some questions for us to the best of their ability.

I also asked for site members to provide any questions they wanted answering and many obliged, one in particular had quite a few!

Some really great stuff was asked and hopefully this edition of Bore Off can provide you with some good answers to said questions. I want to send a special thanks to all who jumped in at a moments notice to either ask a question or take part in answering them.

  2. DCL keeping the form running with a goal for England.

    I assume all active accounts have him at this point?

    • Well I wouldn’t think over 52% of accounts are already inactive at this stage :laugh2:
      I finally caved and got him in this week, the guy second in my ML also didn’t have him as of GW4

      • How update is the 52%?

        I think it will be 60 by gw 5

    • Good debut and another good goal, albeit on a plate from a wonderful Grealish cross. Definitely ahead of Tammy on the basis of that as Kane’s understudy. Which is probably an important role for when Kane rolls his ankle again!

      His clever domination of the CB’s is becoming increasingly impressive. He can’t half jump now too! Almost as if he’s been trained by Duncan Ferguson for the last 2 years…

          Massive congrats to GP and Scotland and to NI.

  3. Who are people planning to captain this week (you can see I’m bored of the international break lol)?
    I haven’t got a single captain choice right so far this season, only one that hasn’t blanked was Auba when he got 7 points in GW1
    Salah is usually the one I regret not captaining so I have it on him currently, but Son is a good option too, Kane if you have him (I don’t), and possibly Vardy at home to Villa

    • Kane for me.

    • It’s actually a tough one this next week. Looking at my team it’ll be be Son if I buy him, depending on the Sterling news. May go DCL if not.

    • You guys expect Spurs to put a few past West Ham? They’re coming off 3-0 and 4-0 wins against Leicester and Wolves so I’m not so sure. They looked pretty solid against Arsenal too, very hard for us to break down their defence

      • Not sure. West Ham always raise their game for two matches: Chelsea and Spurs. Perhaps they just got confused in the last two as they’re generally rubbish and lacklustre against the other 18.

    • I thought I did a big brain move to WC in the int’n break and capture price rises, avoid falls, injuries etc. – oh how wrong I was… :slaphead:

  5. who may be the best GK to replace Allisson? Currently, Martinez is most popular.

  6. Thoughts on Kane anyone? Would you get him in on a WC?
