      Yeah. I had him for the first week or two. Worked out well. Then I ditched him.

      One of the best ways to screw up a season is hold on to an out of form / non-point earning player.

  3. Guys: who would you buy as a mid-term/long term keeper to play week in week out? Szczesny has some tough fixtures coming up..

    6.3m to spend so any keeper – Cech? Howard? Bear in mind any spare funds I can keep for the future

    • how about Jussi? always tends to up there irrespective of fixtures

      • De gea could also be a good choice because of upcoming fixtures

        • Cheers lads, Jussi may be worth a look: is Howard better though?

        • Jussi is only 5 behind him whereas Everton’s start is prob as good as it could have been and West Ham have been good defensively but overall poor. I expect an improvement from West Ham

  4. I went up 300000 places yesterday.
    How’s everybody else doing?

    • went up 45k places but don’t expect to stay there. Others have more to play than me. For such a good Sat, I thought it would be better. I am not sure I will even stay ahead of those around me in my leagues

      • Same. It looked like I was well ahead of most in my leagues but a lot have Suarez and Aguero and a few more big players to play so I might not stay up there.

        • any reason you have stayed away from them? seem must haves.

        • re mids – it depends on say if one is a 5th bench mid or what. If looking to play them, you would do worse than Cabaye and Ravel Morrison. Other options are say cheap but plays , Kasami and you have more money then but not many around the 8m mark

    • good job moving up. you have a few injuries/out of favour players there though.

    Rooney goal, Walker assist

    • Walker assist?

      • Raz, the ball wouldn’t have gone to Rooney had it not been for Walker, therefore Walker “assist”. Jones won’t get the assist because of the deflection.

        • Jones has the assist on FPL but I’m pretty sure it’ll be removed.

        • Anyway, Walker won’t get the assist either though……… own goals count not assists to conceding a goal. I think? Shite, you’re Hitler, you should know. You make the rules, right? 😛
