Our first Friday kick off of the season sees Zlatan’s home league debut as the Saints visit Old Trafford this evening. Saturday then sees seven matches – the lunchtime thriller sees that fundamental FPL question answered – can Kun and co do it on a sunny afternoon in Stoke? The 3pm matches see goal hungry, defensively challenged Liverpool go to Burnley, Spurs hosting Palace, champion busting Hull visiting Swansea, Watford welcoming Chelsea and Everton travelling to West Brom. The early evening match suggests goals rather than clean sheets as Leicester face Arsenal. Sunday sees the final two matches – first up is Sunderland vs Boro before West Ham and Bournemouth look for their first win of the season.

Morning folks! How’s everyone’s weekend been so far? Got finished on 74 points this week so I’m happy there but wait for the kicker… last week I got 25 points on the bench while the likes of Morgan and Stones only got me 1’s and 2’s and thought it was a freak week that won’t happen again but lo and behold the very next week I beat that score and get a combined total of 32 points while once again Stones gets 2 or less!!! hahah still top of a few ML’s but it’s just too annoying
Morning Matt. Many won’t agree with me but I don’t see points on the bench as a bad thing. Of course you’d rather have them on the pitch but chances are if you could go back to 7pm on Friday you’d make the very same decisions. At least you know that these players are unlikely to drop in value anytime soon and there’s a good chance they’ll pick you up some points.
Hey Kop. Yeah I agree is great to have the points all over but if I could have atleast one of them on the team then that would be better. The McAuley/Amat choice was a close one and a coin toss decided it but it just failed in the end. Hopefully their value will go up so when WC time comes it makes it easier on me.
P.s you would be happy I didn’t have the points on the team seeing were playing eachother in H2H haha

Yeah I never look either but had a check today and seen we are. Think there’s only 5 or 6 points between us and you have Friend left and I have no one.
I feel you Matt, to make you feel better I have 22 points on bench in both gws still scored 52 and 73 but as Kop said that’s a good thing in no way we were going to play them ahead of our costly mids so no need to feel bad 😉 Also incase of injury or someone gets dropped we have more thab capable bench, that gives assurance
Hey Snook good scores mate, I’m very similar to yourself there. Yeah my mids wouldn’t have changed too much but my defence could have gone either way in some decisions sadly it went the wrong way haha
yeah I hope with injuries it will make things easier but my first injury of the season is Capoue on my bench but I don’t think it’s too serious.

Selling stones to 4.5m def only gives me 5.5m Mids to upgrade Kante to, can’t see much value at that price.

How does Vardy > Tekkers sound?
That’ll give me 2,6m to play with,
Maybe Kante > Lallana or Redmond > Coutino/Firminho?
At 5.5 there is Ramirez or Snodgrass but the Vardy to Tekkers route is good and I’d upgrade Kante to Lallana or someone else at that price but I can’t remember how much he is.
Vardy to Tekkers does indeed sound good, but I’d give it until the midweek game to see how he looks first.

Cp now will play with a good striker i.e. Benteke should give Townsend assists and they have good fixtures too. Mahrez didn’t look good but didn’t look bad either on set pieces and Penalties in primary reason I would keep him for 1 more gw and give him chance against Swansea. So Pieters-> McAuley and save the other ft

Finished on 67pts this week still 20pts behind the leader of my mini league thinking of bringing Ibra in for kane but need to make 0.6m somewhere I have 2FT way to early to WC for me at least for a couple of game weeks. Any suggestions.
Townsend to Ramirez at Boro depending on how he plays today. I think I would downgrade Courtois though
Rogueblood- you could downgrade Firmino or Stones to get that 0.6 mil that you need.
I was thinking of Firmino but not quite sure on who to bring in I have time to ponder though

Typical – Carroll cannot be relied upon fit or unfit. I had him for a game or so at the end of last season ( against my better judgement) after his 2 goals – what a disaster and England standard what a joke!!
