Fantasy Football Live Match ChatOur first Friday kick off of the season sees Zlatan’s home league debut as the Saints visit Old Trafford this evening. Saturday then sees seven matches – the lunchtime thriller sees that fundamental FPL question answered – can Kun and co do it on a sunny afternoon in Stoke? The 3pm matches see goal hungry, defensively challenged Liverpool go to Burnley, Spurs hosting Palace, champion busting Hull visiting Swansea, Watford welcoming Chelsea and Everton travelling to West Brom. The early evening match suggests goals rather than clean sheets as Leicester face Arsenal. Sunday sees the final two matches – first up is Sunderland vs Boro before West Ham and Bournemouth look for their first win of the season.

  1. So not having United defence or Zlats as captain has kind of killed me. Could be worse I guess

  2. wow one of my mates did well, with 3 players DDG, Shaw & Zlat he got 43 points! with the armband on zlat, but from 3 players 43 points is crazy. Some weeks last season I didnt get that many points with my whole team smile

  3. Really hoping Gray & Sanchez do well this weekend, they are my differentials really

  4. Hey guys, need an advice – I need to get Wickham out before he loses value tonight. I have 0.5 m in the bank so my limit is 6.5. Which striker should I go for? For now, my safe bet would be Caroll – good fixtures after the City game. Suggestions?

    • See what Gray does today

    • Can you raise another mil? The smart money might be on Benteke

      • Need to take a hit for Benteke, plus not a lot of options to raise it. Only one is Mahrez to Firmino, which I will probably do after, but I just don’t want to loose value on Wickham for now.

Thanks Luke, will keep an eye on Gray. He might also loose value tonight.

  5. Hey all,
    New to the site.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on bringing in Benteke as the 3rd striker for GW3?

    Fig

    • Id hold until the transfer goes through. He is 7.4 at the moment so there isnt a rush IMO.

But yes, thinking to put him in.

    • Yeah could be a good move. I’m sure he will be fairly popular on here

    • Welcome to the site, Fig!! I’d hold off on the move to see how he settles but I’m interested in either bringing him or just keeping Townsend and hoping he’s the one to assist Tekkers.

    • Welcome Fig, yup he’s certainly one I’m looking to bring in for Grey.

    • Yeah makes sense to wait. I’ve got 2x FT to use for GW3. Not sure who to change, I’m looking Gray to Benteke (I’ll judge if he plays on Tuesday against Blackpool).

      Any suggestions?

  6. Anybody looking out for Pienaar once he is added? Im thinking he might be a great cheap mid (hopefully).

    • If I was guessing and I am. 5 million I reckon. He ain’t really played much in last few years

    • I’m more interested in Defour now that’s he’s moved to the PL. He’s only 6.0 Mil so could be decent shout. Like Smash says Pienaar hasn’t played much in recent years so might need time to get back into the swing of things.

      • Defour is definitely one to keep an eye on. Should help Grey as well

        • Yeah that’s what I’m thinking of anyway plus with Redmond/Southampton not at their best then it could be a straight swap to a more experienced players who is possibly better in talent as well.

    • Gear, at 5mil. YUP!
