I know there are a lot of Stones critics here, but he really looked decent today. Also, his role is the most interesting, going forward. He is more a mid than a defender at times. If you take into account he also goes forward for corners/free kicks. He had a few good interceptions and a tackle that almost cost him the match since Masuaka was going in recklessly.

For those who are rushing to fit Sanchez in their teams demolishing the balance of their present teams, NOLITO might just be the poor man’s Sanchez

    He has looked great.

An actual winger playing well for City, about time

Nisant while you’re here mate. Would you have Nolito over Ozil? Currently have no Arsenal cover and Nolito would double up with Kun but obviously City are a more attacking team.

      • Smash10 says:

Nolito will be rotated I think while the Arsenal boys will be at the centre of everything

        Hello Matt
thats a headache for me too mate.
even I don’t have any Arsenal cover and have Kun.
but being very honest, I see the division of points among the Arsenal midfielders will be much more than that compared to the City mids.
also with Pep, there is that extra trust in the City attack attack.

but Ozil is class. but considering current form- Nolito over Ozil

        • Matt says:

Cheers Nishant. I’ll have a think any way but it’s the rotation that is making me hold off on the Nolito transfer. Like Ozil is nailed on and has some decent players around him so should do well consistently but Nolito has Sane, Sterling, Navas and probably more that I can’t think of right now who he has to compete with.

      • nishant says:

Fernandinho won’t score everyday. Sterling as we all know is a just a ‘Pacey’ mid. he can and will frustate people. After the arrival of Nolito there has been sharing in the creative role between KDB and Silva.

while in Arsenal, Caz, Sanchez,Ozil,Ramsey(when fit), are regular performers. Plus Wally, Iwobi, Chamberlain keep on giving cameos.

So on form Nolito over Ozil

        that’s just me smile

Went to see Albion vs Middlesboro today.
Pretty desperate viewing, nearly nodded off in the second half.
Both teams are going to struggle this season if they carry on like this.

Albion lack skill and creativity in the final 3rd, Rondon was like a cart-horse, and Berahino is just there to see out his contact.
Negredo showed one flash of skill where he nutmegged the Albion full-back with a back-heel – but that was the sum-total of his contribution – in all honesty, he seemed unfit.
