Live Match Chat Game-week 4 FPL News

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatWell look what we got here to get us rolling again. A lunch time kick-off that probably pits the best team versus the second best team, who is who though, remains to be seen. Bitter rivals Jose and Pepe square off in the Manchester Derby, in what hopefully is the renewal of the animosity between the two. That is followed by six 3pm games. Wheelchair less Arsenal welcome in Southampton, Bournemouth will look to penetrate Pulis and his men and pop their cherry, Burnley takes on surprising Hull. In other action Boro looks to get a shot on goal this GW when they battle Palace, Stoke welcomes Spurs and The Hammers look to get their season on track when they do battle with Watford. In the late game Vardy and the boys pay a visit to Anfield for what promises to be a fun affair.
We see the game-week out with one game on Sunday and one more on Monday. The Swans play host to Chelsea on Sunday and that is followed the next day with the Moyesie derby as Sunderland play host to Everton.

Morning all, not great for me yesterday but it sounds like I fared better than some – 23 with 4 left to play including Hazard captain.

So I made a transfer last night ( yes I know, don’t give me a hard time I was chasing the £ and Redmond had to go – I brought in Antonio btw). Anyway now I need an Aguero plan – it will have to be a -4 though. Options as I see are Barkley to Mirallas or Negrado to Stuani. I think if I did the second I would probably be more inclined to play 3-5-2 so capoe would be on the pitch. What are your thoughts?

Just want to tell people hold your transfers, 2 games still to go with CL mid week and people having wc who had shit gw don’t waste it now, wait for Kun to be back and use it then

Morning all poor score so far for me. Townsend must go. And also have grey.
Got 2 transfers should I use them now?

Hey guys. Somehow I seem to pick the correct captain every week.
How are you guys doing this GW? smile

I’m hoping Hazard & Costa go big today!

Last night I was so dismayed with my 12 points -4 that I drunk transferred … Redmond to Antonio… Today I wake up and realize I clicked Lamella out… Who i only brought in last week.. What a pleb!
Might wildcard this week as there are about 6 players I want, anyone else pulling the trigger?

Oh what a mess, Rosco, the regret is real lol.
I don’t know what I’m going to do yet. My team has treated me well so far. Hopefully you can fix your mistakes. Good luck man. laugh

      • Rosco77 says:

Yeah you def hit gold! I’m annoyed as players i had keep doing well! I had firmino weeks 1&2 and I took him out! I literally don’t know what to do this week!

        • FC Sanchez says:

I wasn’t doing bad but decided to pull the trigger last week as I wanted to redo my defense plus found fixtures to be favorable for a few teams for the next several GWs. If you think you’d want to change a bunch of players that are underperforming or who have a slew of unfavorable fixtures, I’d go for it, especially now with certain players (and teams) standing out amongst the rest who have recently done well and will in the coming weeks prolly continue their form fantasy-wise. I think you absolutely need a Liverpool mid (Mane/Firmino/ Lallana/Coutinho), City mid (KdB/Sterling) and perhaps a West Ham mid (Payet/Antonio); a Spurs defender (Walker/Rose), United defender (Valencia/Shaw), Everton defender (Baines/Williams/Jagielka) + attacker (Barkley/Lukaku) as well as obviously Hazard, Ibra and Aguero when he returns. Arsenal also have favorable fixtures but I’ve held off until someone stands out. A defender (Bellerin/Kosc/Monreal) would prolly pay off in the next several weeks though they are expensive, and I assume Ozil and Giroud will prolly start getting amongst the points. Cazorla might work also. Those would be my thoughts anyway. Good luck!

        • FC Sanchez says:

Oh, and prolly a Spurs attacker (Lamela/Eriksen/Kane).

        • Nosaj says:

The problem is, getting all of those players would leave you at least a couple of mil over the salary cap FC Sanchez!!! That’s the main reason why there is no real template team at the moment. Lots of the big hitters are performing, which means that people do not have enough cash to afford these big hitters and that they have to pick and choose which ones they are going to get, and plonk them aside the cheaper, less reliable options.

        • FC Sanchez says:

How is it a ‘template team’ with THE MANY PLAYER OPTIONS I have listed for each team/position? There are many DIFFERENT COMBINATIONS you can make out of this sorry lot that would preclude it from being ‘template’. Players also range from the pricey to the mid range so you can in fact get a team together with a bunch of these guys at the moment (which I at least managed to do) especially if you decide to go 3-5-2 (which might be a viable option at the moment). Once Aguero returns, yes, you need to make way a bit but you can still make a decent team including these folks.

        • FC Sanchez says:

          For example, you can do:

          Heaton/Pickford
          Valencia/Walker/Williams/McAuley/Amat
          Hazard/Sterling/Antonio/Barkley/Capoue
          Aguero/Ibra/Stuani

Not a bad team and not unbalanced either.

        • Ruben says:

          Unlucky Rosco!

        • Rosco77 says:

Thank Sanchez I’m liking these choices and its confirming what I thought that I’m missing some key players!!

        • colonial says:

Just a word of caution – i believe all the top FFPL winners have generally used the formation 3-4-3 – which I strongly agree with
