Morning all pretty pi–ed off with my season so far started well but red arrows since then on WC so I thk Kun & Ibra have to stay which leaves funds light.
Teams with good fixtures Ars , Eve , Wat , Liv , Spurs with City fixtures don’t matter.
So I need one fwd from the above & the cheapest route is Wat Deeney it is.
Nk up MF I already have Capoue , so who do I go for which Pool player all four MF players are going to score on there day so at this time I will pick Coutinho simply on price. Can I afford another premium MF player in & who.
Let’s look KDB , Sanchez , Mahrez , Haz , Payet maybe others but I’m going to try & squeeze Sanchez in wont leave bucket loads of cash left but I can take another 7-8m player so who the two I’m looking at Antonio & Sterling if I go Sterling I have to get say Barry if I go Antonio I can get Snod which are the better pair ????
Now def I already have two premium def Baines & Vanencia + McAuley I will stick with these plus Amat at 4m my nk pick is a bit strange but I’ve gone with Pieters Stoke have some good fixtures & he will rotate with Mc & Amat
GK have to stay Foster & Jak.

So my ? After rambling is with pr Anotoni & Snod or Sterling & Barry cheers

Snod and Barry would be your 5th I reckon.
Most of the time will be on your bench, I would opt for Sterling and Barry.

Watch the game last night and Sterling was awesome.
He could easily get a hattrick.

      Tough call
West Ham are scoring every game,& with Antonios head.
Even if Sicknote makes it back I think Antonio will still be scoring off his knockdowns.
Sterling, ! after despising his lack of end product for so long he looked well worth 50m yesterday, him+ Nacho were sublime pinging the ball to each other. Me, Id rest Aguero some & let him have some match days off! Cant see past City at the mo.

Know it doesnt help Im taking Sterling+Antonio myself.

A poor 37 for me with Redmond , Ibra & Valencia to come 😉

    AT says:

Reckon Iwobi has a starting spot for now? Looked great yesterday and seems to be among the points every time he plays. My concern would be Wenger – he seems to stick with his ‘Giroud up top’ squad when he can even when it clearly isn’t the best.

      Matt says:

Iwobi deserves to play the way with the form he’s in but like you say Wenger probably won’t stick with him sadly. Would be great if he did though.

      • AT says:

Matt, Walcott could be a good option? Everything seemed to go through him yesterday.

        • Matt says:

I seen but again I feel once we all think that Walcott has cemented his place in the team Wenger will drop him like he usually does.

        • AT says:

Played every game thus far, Matt. Is this because of injuries?
I know Lucas Perez has arrived and Giroud was injured this weekend but surely whilst he keeps scoring Wenger has to understand how much better they are with Iwobi – Ozil – Walcott behind Sanchez!? Wishful thinking I know..haha

        • Matt says:

Well the first few weeks was because he was resting players and because of injury but hopefully Wenger does keep him because if he does then I’d probably swap Ozil for Walcott.

        • AT says:

Think I might punt on him. Cheers Matt.

    Snookie Bear says:

“It was Santi Cazorla to take it, I don’t know why it didn’t happen,” Wenger told the BBC. “Did Santi not want to take it, or did Sanchez take the ball? We have a pecking order, but on the pitch they have to want to take it. But he was not planned, Sanchez.”

Wenger added that he intends to talk to the players to sort out the situation.

“I want always to know what happened,” he said. “And [for it] to not happen again, we have to see why that happened. But overall, anybody can miss a penalty. You have to accept that. It happens to all of us … and it’s happened to Santi Cazorla as well.”

    Matt says:

Quick question just to get other thoughts on it.

KDB vs Ageuro! Who would you rather have?

My thoughts were to get Ageuro back no problem but KDB seems to be flourishing under Pep. I went from 2nd in my ML to 7th this week as most people either had Lukaku as captain, KDB as captain or had Sterling and Ihenacho. This is making me wonder whether it is better to spread the wealth to have KDB in midfield.

I vote that Kun is a necessity but would like to hear what others want especially as it seems like everyone in my ML and possibly some people on the site don’t have a plan to get Kun back in.

      AT says:

Kun all the way for me. KDB is amazing and I’d have both if I could, but Aguero is the one that can score five in a GW and, as we saw midweek in the CL, play goes through Aguero.

    • 174.2

      Costa+Haz -> Sterling+Kun in 2FT for me.
Same reasoning as Antonio instead of Payet. Price diff & Id rather have the goals with few assists than the assists with few goals.
Only ? is does Sterling only work best with Nacho?

      • Matt says:

That’s actually very interesting Tiger. I didn’t consider that but you could be right Sterling has definitely improved with Nacho in front of him instead of Kun. That could be because Sterling knows Kun will score where as he may feel that Nacho could miss so needs to be behind him to pick up second chances.

      Silvers says:

Matt I thk Kun & KBR won’t be to far away from each other points wise maybe 20-30 overhaul in Kuns favour so I guess it’s possible to go without Kun but the problem a raises that Kun is more capable of getting a hatty & as a Cap pick that’s where he is the better choice, if that makes sense. 😉

      • Matt says:

I agree with you Silvers. I think it will be close but Kun will be the better player in the end and is probably more consistent in points scoring. I’d say KDB could go on a run of doing very little FPL wise but then go and get near 20 points in a game.

      ichalviking says:

      Mitro,

Just realized that KDB play as City attacking central role due to the absence of Silva.
When Silva coming back, KDB role will reduce a bit.
As per point wise, could be Kun lead the way.
      Kun for myself.

If you can afford both, that’s great.
