If your keeping Ibrahimovic only for his high ownership thats silly IMO. Play the team you want not the team everyone else has.
He’s not shit, has scored points except one gw and when he scores 60% owners are going to go ahead of you so nope it’s not silly, more like playing safe especially if you aren’t chasing
Maybe if you take FPL super seriously and want a exceptional rank. For me its about enjoying the game and playing with the players you want.
Well said gunners…..
There are 10 other players on the field. Ibra owners aren’t going to go ahead of anyone if their other players score less or if their bench is crap when called on. Not saying Ibra is a bad pick by any means, but it’s also about balancing your team.
Personally, I don’t want to be handcuffed to a player just because there are loads of United fans all over the world that play FPL and won’t drop him all season.
WTF is wrong this season’s BPS system..
So is it time to sell Lamela? He has looked great when he’s played, but with the likes of Chadli and Antonio, maybe he’s not worth keeping due to rotation… Maybe if he scores today off the bench I’ll keep him. haha
In a word Bob: YES!! Way too much uncertainty with playing time and there are lots of good midfield options in that price range. I sold him last night, on a WC but just wanted him and that stupid haircut out of my team.
Disappointing though isn’t it? He’s been playing so well – he had 3 great chances to score today even with just 15 minutes!!
Gray to Aguero & hazard to ?…walcott only one that stands out. Or is there another way for me to afford kun?
Chadli>? I know its Brom, but its Chadli.
Yeah Chadli is a great bet – IMO, because it’s west brom!! He’s their best attacking player so will be a sort of focal point for them. He’ll score a lot this season I think
and he has Stoke up next… he could be captain material
Now that would be a punt!!!
You’re temping me already Lukealike hahahaha
Baines or Coleman?
Baines for me, mainly cos he seems to still be on pens.
Coleman for me, less people have him. Scored in open play, and is Baines really on penalties? Probably but I know he missed one, and coincidence or not. There defense is better since Coleman came back
1-1,
Anyone else?
Baines for me.
Baines for me. Pens swings it but it’s a close call. Both capable of assists. Baines will get some FK chances too, not as many as he used to but still some. Same with corners.
I think I’m going to go Coleman because of price, lower ownership and goal threat. Baines ‘being on free kicks’ doesn’t amount to much when he’s too polite to step up and take them! Happened all the time last year with Mirallas.
To be honest, they’ll probably finish with similar points tallies.
I think Baines edges it as he has better assist potential with his crossing ability and will probably end up with a similar amount of goals from penalties. That being said, I’d buy Coleman as he’s chaper right now.
I have Baines but I might move it to Williams.
Help please! What’s the best attacking 7?
1) Hazard, Firmino, Lamela, Snodgrass, Aguero, Ibra, Bony
2) Capoue, Sanchez, Lamela, Snodgrass, Aguero, Ibra, Costa
With both options I think my next move will be Lamela to Antonio.
I think I prefer option 2, but is the midfield too weak?
2 for me mate…
Cheers FT. Not sure if I’m comfortable starting Capoue and Snodgrass every week, but having Aguero, Ibra, Costa & Sanchez is very tempting!
Having those four cripples the funds but it is very tempting! Not sure about Snodgrass but starting Capoue seems to be a must at the moment. There fixtures look juicy also…
Capoue’s not the FPL top scorer by 7 points for nothing! With the fixtures, IMO, he’s a captaincy option for the next few weeks!!
I’d go for option 2 also as Sanchez has great fixtures coming up and has form on his side.
I think Snodgrass looks quite good, and he got a hattrick last week or two weeks ago, Hulls fixtures after GW8 or 9 are really good. Think I will get him for the start of those fixtures
Thanks guys. Seems like everyone prefers option 2 then!
