Welcome to Live Match Chat Game-week 5 FPL News:
We begin on Friday evening this week and it should be a cracker as Chelsea play host to a recently rampant Liverpool. We then have to wait until Saturday afternoon at 3pm for the next instalment of four games as Hull look to contain Arsenal, Leicester look to bounce back from the said teams rampancy as they host Burnley, Man City will look to extend their unbeaten run against Bournemouth, West Brom host West Ham and then Saturday is rounded off as Everton will be hoping for more North Eastern favours in the shape of Middlesbrough in the late game.

Sunday is where our GW5 concludes and there are four games to get our teeth into. Watford and Man United go early at 12pm, Palace host Stoke and Southampton play Swansea, both at 2.15pm before Spurs entertain Sunderland at 4.30pm to finish the game-week.

    Current team is;

    Heaton/Jakupovic

    Valencia/baines/mcauley/stones/amat

    Capaoue/redmond/lamela/llalana/car zola

    Zlatan/aguero/costa

    What do you think?

      I think your midfield lacks at least one huge hitter. Feels a bit light I have to admit. Looking at the forwards and the three big hitters in defence though I can see why.

      It might work well though, who can say.

    • red – I think the midfield is too weak. How about using Capoue as a 4th, have Fletcher or someone as a 5th, gives you 1.5 to play with. Also, while Heaton will get save shots, will he get much CS’s? Cech or LLoris maybe instead?

    • Clyne is too expensive for me. If you want to persist with Pool defence, at least Lovren is 0.6 cheaper. Kingsley to Amat is more likely to start. Then its down to whether Capoue keeps performing

      Is this a Wildcard effort or just how you would line up your current team for next weekend?

    So what should I do to get in Kun? (0.1 ITB)

    • id say realistically one of the 2 big strikers and probably Hazard out

      • Dreamers – plan was to take out Costa but he’s looking very good, taking out ibra makes my life a lot easier

      If you bring Aguero in for Negredo, how much is left over for a replacement if you sell Hazard?

    • I’d sell Haz Mitro.

      • Matt – I think hazard will be the midfielder to offload, just don’t whether to get rid of Costa or ibra

    • Morning Mitro, got a WC? My team is looking similarly rich with midfielders as I spread Aguero’s money about and will be WCing to get him back.

  4. Morning folks, did anyone else see the highest scoring team after last night? Who in their right mind triple captains HENDERSON!!! First time ever and probably the last time that will ever pay off

    • Guys thinking today or early tomorrow is the time to do my transfers this week with Kun at 12.9. So what do you think of Gray to Kun, Haz to Lallana and 6.2 left to replace Townsend for a -4 hit?

      Then when the inevitable happens that Costa gets banned for too many YCs or something else then I’d downgrade him and bring Haz back in somewhere.

        If you need to go early for cash then you will have an anxious wait this midweek as there are a number of premier teams in League Cup duty.

        If you go that way I would go for Snodgrass or King for that money. Leaves a bit left over as well which helps.

        • Yeah that’s what I’m thinking GP. I was thinking Snoddy but King has been playing well recently so if I go with them then I don’t have to worry about the money that much and can hold off on transfers till maybe Wednesday night.

    • I’m in a H2H with my best mate ( just me v him) and he captained Henderson, when I seen his team I was like WTF but triple captain… That shit is crazy!!

  5. Lads – with the CL now on, will Walker get rotated a bit?

    • Not sure but Spurs do have a good bit of cover at RB so it’s definitely a possibility.
