Welcome to Live Match Chat Game-week 6 FPL News: Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday as an under pressure United host reigning champions Leicester. 3pm on Saturday brings us six games with Bournemouth hosting an inform Everton side. Can Lukaku’s form continue? Liverpool play host to Hull. Can the reds find a way to beat a team they’re expected to sweep aside? Spurs travel up to Teeside to face Boro. How will they cope without Harry Kane? Stoke host West Brom in what is likely to be a snoozefest. There’s likely to be another snoozefest on Wearside as Sunderland host Palace. Our final 3pm game sees City travel to Wales for a game which will hopefully see a certain Argentine run riot. Saturday comes to a conclusion at 5:30pm when 4th place Arsenal host 5th place Chelsea in a London derby that is rarely dull.
Just the one game on Sunday afternoon as West Ham host Southampton. The Hammers are in disarray having lost three on the bounce conceding 11 goals in the process while Southampton will hope to build upon their victory over Swansea last weekend which was their first of the season.
Our game-week concludes on Monday night when Watford travel to Burnley. Watford have been the surprise team this season and Etienne Capoue has been the FPL gift which keeps on giving. This could very well be the first game in which many FPL managers actually play the Frenchman…you just know what’s going to happen!!

Wierd gameweek. 55 points if I add Smith who will come on for Baines. Doesn’t sound bad but I have to keep in mind that Ibra/Lukaku/Firm all underperformed. Any other week they would have gotten at least 1 goal. So quite happy with Capoue/Holebas/Antonio left to play. Not the best WildCard score, not the worst either though.
49 with payet, capoue and Heaton to go! Thank god I stuck with ozil

Normally I bitch about my poor score so im chuffed my WC team is currently on 77 with Antonio and Capoue to go! Still only 1 clean sheet but Aguero, Sanchez, KDB and Lallana have done me proud!
As I’ve said above on 55 myself and wildcarded and not bitching. Could have gone much better but just have to deal with the fact sometimes luck is not with you. I’ll take Smith CS though.
55 is a solid score, im not being a show off…I got 21 points 2 weeks ago so Im just chuffed my WC worked out! Only my second season but up to top 50k which is my highest placing yet…will still end up a lot lower but after watching Newcastle throw away a 1-0 win I need some joy in my day!

I always overact a little bit here with the scolding and stuff, make it sound worse than it is. But having good score can make you really happy. In the end, it is just a game.
Do you have a nemesis yet? I’ve noticed that helped me in the past, improve my game. 😉
First season without any FPL tip site I made top 50k almost but I took a 16 point hit on the last day, haha. Anyway, second season I loved it so I made 2 accounts and this account (My main account) was more a test case with RvP and one without RvP and it really did not work out, haha. Worst score ever and it was the season I used Tip sites. Maybe too much.
Anyway in the end t’s about gut and going with the players you like, I think. I went with Firminho because I like the lad, poor him that he got nothing but that’s life. Same with Ibra, haha, keeping him and main factor getting him in the first place was because I really like him. 😉 Players like Hazard, need to do very well, and I need to be forced by peer pressure to get them.
Anyway, my point. Congrats and do show off.
You reckon Newcastle with be in the EPL again next season? Wijnaldum was really a gem,, he shows that at Liverpool, even though he’s used diferently now.
I think we will come back up but I don’t think it’ll be a walk in the park as today shows!
Well last season was my first and I ran a team for a girl at work in a client league, did ok (76k) but got the bug, im borderline ob… in fact no doubt about it im obsessed! Discover 247 around December last year and you guys have made a huge difference to me! Thing is i’m like you I take it to heart too much and if I have a bad week It really ruins my weekend…but.. Im still running the team for the girl at work but this year I have my own team too. I’ve deliberately kept the two teams different so that i have more interest in more games and if one team does bad the other normally does ok. So this week my ‘client’ team did bad! Ibra and Firmino in my other team so I’m not so good this week on that team and only about 300k. I’ve def found that having two very different teams has helped me see it as more fun, my team is my ‘fun’ team and this week it worked out…I’ll probably do badly next week but my other team will probably do better…maybe! Love this game im just gutted I only discovered it last year at 39!
What a night. Arsenal destroying Chelsea. Kos Ozil and Alexis in my fpl and taking an -8 has me a massive green arrow and a projected rank of 25740

I’m on for my best start in the EPL game as well, fingers crossed I don’t go AWOL on it again. Having no Newcastle to watch getting relegated might just help me along with that this time around.
Lads due to Chelsea being a mess and Costa being a yellow card magnet. I have the money to get Ibra back for a -4.

FPL changes on a day to day basis GP! 😉 Looks like the Liverpool mids will share the goals this season so it’s pot luck what one you pick. With Ibra you know he’s the striker.
Costa is also one yellow from a ban so he will need replacing after the international break.
