Live Match Chat Game-week 6 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Game-week 6 FPL News: Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday as an under pressure United host reigning champions Leicester. 3pm on Saturday brings us six games with Bournemouth hosting an inform Everton side. Can Lukaku’s form continue? Liverpool play host to Hull. Can the reds find a way to beat a team they’re expected to sweep aside? Spurs travel up to Teeside to face Boro. How will they cope without Harry Kane? Stoke host West Brom in what is likely to be a snoozefest. There’s likely to be another snoozefest on Wearside as Sunderland host Palace. Our final 3pm game sees City travel to Wales for a game which will hopefully see a certain Argentine run riot. Saturday comes to a conclusion at 5:30pm when 4th place Arsenal host 5th place Chelsea in a London derby that is rarely dull.
Just the one game on Sunday afternoon as West Ham host Southampton. The Hammers are in disarray having lost three on the bounce conceding 11 goals in the process while Southampton will hope to build upon their victory over Swansea last weekend which was their first of the season.
Our game-week concludes on Monday night when Watford travel to Burnley. Watford have been the surprise team this season and Etienne Capoue has been the FPL gift which keeps on giving. This could very well be the first game in which many FPL managers actually play the Frenchman…you just know what’s going to happen!!

Ok where Init what is up with Baines Hamstring I believe but how bad ???
Koeman said Baines has a slight chance of returning on Friday vs Palace…..
So he probably won’t cheers Cookie good score for you well done mate what happened to Lovren
Same as Firmino mate – bleedin’ no show! Never trust a scouser – I didn’t take my own advice
Are you sticking with Firmino the Oool look very fluid so any can score on the day
Morning lads. Lovren had a viral infection or something like that yesterday so should be fine by next weekend.
Yeah will stick with him. For now!
Viral infection – typical!
Haha
Morning all, hope your GWs went well. Got 51 myself but could have been much more if I’d picked any other Pool midfielder! Grrr. Firmino did look good though and I can see him scoring well. I was a little concerned when Sturridge came on; he pushed back – was that as a no.10 or as one of the 3-man midfield in a 4-3-3?
Need Dimi to step up today to go top of my ML again.
Good score AT. Stick with Firmino I think every week it will be someone different. Personally I think Couthino may be the best option as he’s involved in everything. As for dropping back I believe it was into a no.10 role as we didn’t really have striker before Studge came on.
Cheers Matt, I am seriously considering changing to Coutinho. Saves a bit and looks very good. His shoot on site policy is currently working too. Just don’t want to switch and then Firmino does great.
Have you still got your WC?? I’d be inclined to keep Firmino and then when you play that just swap to Couthino
Used it this week, Matt haha. Have no other worries in my team – minus no Arsenal defender really where these funds could actually help a little.
isnt there only 0.2 price difference?
Well I’d say give it till after the United game to see if Firmino keeps only getting 2 if so then swap to Couthino.
think he went to the left in a front 3 AT
Thanks for both comments, Dreamers. Yeah haha, for some reason I thought Firmino was £8.5m and Coutinho £8.1m (think Coutinho went up last night anyway).
Think my move this week may be Defoe in for Janssen. Tried the punt, not sure about him, especially against Citeh this week. Ruud Gullit on MOTD made a series of excellent points to put me off him at the moment and Defoe’s got great fixtures.
So, Antonio still owned by 19%..If he scores, more green arrows..
Hope not 😉
so my plan was to go KDB to Sanchez this week. Not sure I can really lose KDB being one of my only performing players.
Guess might come down to Payet today
Well if this hamstring injury is bad for KDB then you may be forced into the move mate.
didnt realise it was hamstring. Those “75% probability” of playing (but has hamstring injury ) can murder you
Well I read somewhere yesterday that it was a hamstring injury maybe I’m wrong though just keep an eye on it.
yep hamstring possibly per Ben Dinnery
Hey Dreamers, I wouldn’t lose KDB for Sanchez buddy. he seems to be more involved in the game than the past year. But, yeah Arsenal seems a must for next few weeks. I’d suggest you to keep a check on Payet’s performance. May a straight swap to Ozil would work?
But yes, if he’s injured and out, then Sanchez should be the obvious move
Cheers Constantine. It would work money wise – but I’d say I’d be more likely to also loose Walker for a minus 4 and go with Sanchez. Hoping Payet makes himself unsellable with a big score today
Mass Ibra exodus. I don’t like it, all the SV I have been building. N00bs are destroying it.
Lol @ Jaku rising last night by the way. HAHA!
You keeping Ibra, Raz??
Hell yeah. He was super unlucky yesterday. He could have gotten 15 points yesterday.
+1, +2, +3 😉
Yeah definitely he had 3 one on one chances that went narrowly wide so against Stoke he should do great.
Couple goals and an assist for Rashford.
Clear chance but Rashford shoot the crowd.
:snorty:
I don’t mind it, Raz. He may be £11.4m come the end of the week but he will punish sellers. Stoke is a ridiculously stupid fixture to bin him for. He had great chances yesterday – a player of his calibre can score hat-tricks for fun!
Who’s the best 6.4 or less midfielder? Thinking of selling Townsend this week.
Snodgrass as he’s on penalties. Capoue if you still dont own him and save some money
Cheers Constant. Snoddy it is then. Was also thinking Bolasie. I’ve had Capoue from the beginning but sadly he’s been on my bench the whole time haha
Matt, i’ve starting using him as my 4th mid..dont know till when would his form continue, but for now as watford is having decent fixtures ahead, the gamble might pay. Mahrez did that for us the last season. It has enabled me to keep sanchez, kun, lukaku and three decent defenders in the squad.cheers
Yeah that’s the same as myself. I’ve played him this week so hopefully he does something today.
You mean tomorrow right? Hehe
Oh yeah forgot it’s West Ham and Southampton today haha
