Moving onto Saturday and we have five games in store. The early kick off sees an inform Liverpool side travel down to Wales to take on a Swansea side who sit one point above the relegation zone. At 3pm Hull who have conceded nine in their last two games host a Chelsea side reeling from defeats to Liverpool & Arsenal. Bottom of the table Sunderland host West Brom. Watford host Bournemouth. While West Ham will be desperate to put a run of four straight defeats behind them as they host Middlesbrough.
As a result of midweek European football we have another four games on Sunday afternoon. What is the point of West Brom defenders and GK’s if they don’t keep cleen sheets?
So tempted to transfer out Foster
Are any teams keeping clean sheets though
+1
Same here last week I had McAuley and Foster and now McAuley. It’s very frustrating
Not sure if anyone on here is into Rugby League ? But what an ending to the million pound game !!!
Evening lads, a fairly quite day for FPL then eh, unless you had Firmino and Costa…
I bought Mane (2) and Coleman (2) with my FTs this week, benched Pickford and Stuani, meh.
Anyone think Bolasie —–> Antonio is worth doing? I have 0.1m saved up in Bolasie (and he has 2 decent fixtures after next weekend’s away game vs City) but, depsite his frequent crosses, he’s not really producing.
Feels much of a muchness James
What’s your budget James? I dumped Antonio for Walcott after his CL brace Wed night. Watched the West Ham match last week and despite Antonio’s early season form they looked awful.
Red, hey, got 1.3m in the bank.
I was originally thinking of selling Chadli, but now, hmmm… not so sure.
My budget’s 7.7m if I dump Chadli and 7.3m if I dump Antonio.
Chadli —–> Walcott looks very tempting now!
Hey James, I’d wait and see how he looks tomorrow but Walcott would be a good shout if you’re prepared to lose Chadli. WBA have some tough matches coming up but he is bringing in decent points. Same could be said of Antonio bar the last couple weeks, and West Ham have some sweet fixtures. Overall they look a shambles, but if he keeps getting points I guess that doesn’t matter much!
Another couple in your budget to keep in mind are Son and Snodgrass. Hull have a nice run of games coming up and he’s their main threat. I brought him in on my WC 2 weeks ago to ride the bench and give Capoue a shot as my 4th midfielder for a couple games. Snodgrass will be starting for me after the IB with Capoue 1st sub.
Just got rid of Antonio for Wally myself James…… We will see if that plan works out tomorrow i suppose. Pretty low scoring Saturday so roll on Super Sunday!
Yeah I think West Ham players should be avoided due to their bad form
Seems a good shout Magic.
Would you rather have Bolasie and Walcott or Chadli and Antonio?
I think I’ve answered my own question there…
Smash: true, but after today’s draw, they’ll probably gain some momentum.
Except for payet?
Not bad returns to be fair
Yeah Payet still seems to be doing the business. West Ham’s form is just so bad though but they seem to be scoring
James – I have bolasie and I will be selling in the next few days
What you thinking?
Smash – not to sure mate, I have 3.1 ITB any suggestions?
You look pretty well set this week. Bolasie to Liverpool coverage maybe getting Sanchez in
Smash – probably will look to bring in a pool midfielder or maybe hold off until KDB is back?
Evening all sat on 41 with 4 to go so happy with that just worried about Ibra tomorrow hope everyone doing ok 😉
Good score that Silvers
Solid score. I am on 33 with captain Aguero to come
How are you lads faring? I’ve a decent 41 this week thanks to my captain Firmino! Still have Ozil, Aguero and Sterling to go but I’m fearful of Ibra and Sanchez :/
I’m on a lousy 22 with Ibra (C) Aguero, Sterling and Sanchez to go
56 here neo. Doesn’t happen very often. Sanchez captain n aguero to come.
24 so far with DDG, Morgan, Stones, Wally, Aguero and Ibra (c) left. Feels about average looking at my ML. Most of my main rivals have no Ibra so something decent from him would be a big help tomorrow. None have Wally either but most have Sanchez. Couple already capped out with Coutinho which is nice!
27 (-4) with Heaton, Morgan, Walcott, Austin and Kun (c) to go!
Mitro – u took a hit? U? Say it isn’t so 😉
Of course I did
Ballsy call on Firmino, nice one Neo. I’m on 37 with Koscielny, Walker, Walcott, Aguero, and Sanchez (C) to go. Firmino, Lukaku, Deeney, and Pickford all bringing good returns for me so far this week.
Nice, you should have a good week.
Neo, I’m on 8 with Bellerin, Shaw, Sterling, Sanchez (c), Kun, Rashford to go. Coutinho didn’t make up for thebhitni took for him, but there’s plenty of time for that!
Do get the feeing him and Firmino and probably Mane will spend the season taking turns getting 2 and 12! Every other week you’re going to wish you’d picked the other one. Firmino is better suited when not playing that striker role, as soon as I heard Sturridge coming on today I did think to myself that’s good news.
I agree, kinda why I didn’t bring a Pool mid in on my wc.
Yeah Innit, I like Coutinho better for the long term personally, so it wasn’t all hinging on him making up the hit today. Just felt I needed to get some cover in. Just wishing I had played Fer instead of Capoue this week but no seeing that one playing out like it did :/
They are scoring a lot of goals. Considering having both Coutinho and Firmino
Nope, but having those 2 to rotate as cheap 4th’s seems a good option. Just need to pick the right one more often than not!
Smash, pretty sure I’ll have both also if I decide to WC this week. Are you doing so?
I’d rather of Firmino & Mane ahead of Coutinho. Given his price I’d probably pick Lallana ahead of Coutinho as well.
Whys that Kop?
I just feel they offer more of a threat around the goal. Coutinho is clearly our best but he often does his best work further away from the goal. Although there’s probably stats out there to prove me wrong
Cheers mate, you see them more than I do over 90 hence me asking. He’s looked great from what I’ve seen so far. Not so much today but I only saw bits of the first half and I believe you weren’t good full stop in that so not really much to go on from that and he looked anonymous but then so did the team. Second half was a different story I believe. Had that on the radio with the kids shouting in the back so wasn’t exactly focused then either!
As for the stats I think the below is fairly conclusive
Hey Pancho, you just made me feel better,I’m on 16 with Aguero,Zlatan (c) Ozil,Sterling and Valencia to play…oh and Amat off the bench….
Brooke, I actually have 16 but I took a -8 to get in Bellerin and Coutinho and Rashford for Kingsley and Antonio and Sturridge. We will see how it ends up panning out this week, but I got Bell and Cout for the long-term, so I’m not too worried.
Good moves,Bell could be great for you over the next few weeks..
33 points with Aguero(C), Ozil, Cech and Valencia to come
Twenty one with a eight point hit so my roll of good fortune seems to have hit the proverbial brick wall, still got five to go and Aguero on (c) so anything is possible.
Klopp has said Lallana should be back for the next game.
He did? I was thinking of bringing him in
