Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: And we are off!! Game-week 10 gets us going with a foregone conclusion, as Arsenal will grab the 3 points when they travel to the Stadium of light Darkness. That “one team rolling over and playing dead” fixture is followed by six more. United look to bore Burnley off the pitch, Boro and Bournemouth tangle in another battle of low expectations. In other action, the best defence (Spurs) faces Leicester, who can’t defend, so much so that even United scored on them…4 times. Watford and Hull duel in a battle of fugly kits, The Baggies face first place City at the Hawthorns and Palace finish the day off with a match up against the “WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE LEAGUE” Liverpool.
Sunday gives us two more fixtures. Struggling for a win Everton faces the slightly improving Hammers. In the late game, Chelsea and their suddenly vaunted attack look to stop the Saints from continuing their march up the table.
Monday closes the game-week off with a made for Halloween fixture, as only the freaks will be out and about to watch Stoke and Swansea scare each other with their bad play.

Wow, that 72 (-4) jumped me from 24k to 6k with Lukaku still to play. Klopp and the boys stayed tied for 1st with another 3 points, I squeaked my H2H match by a single point, and the Sulky One got banished to the stands and wouldn’t speak to the press after being held at home to mighty Burnley. Not a bad little Saturday.

Nice one Red! 6k eh, pretty damn good going that mate.

      • RedVT says:

Thanks init. It will surely drop after tomorrow and Monday but I should see a green arrow at least after a couple reds. Moving in the right direction anyway.

        • inittowinit says:

I’m just ignoring the next 2 days, I’m all out of players! I hate it when that happens but you can’t pick your team around TV scheduling!

        • RedVT says:

Haha, having no players left is the worst. Almost no reason to even watch the matches other than scouting a bit and rooting for your ML rival’s demise. I almost didn’t captain Sanchez today just because it was the early match and early match captain blanks can spoil your whole weekend. But like you said, can’t make your decisions on the scheduling!

Great jump there Red!! Was a great day to be a Pool fan 😉

      • RedVT says:

Thanks Matty! Great day indeed, what a match!! Is there anything better than watching the Klopp hug session on the field after a good win? Haha, I have a serious man-crush on him. His attitude and football philosophy is infectious. Hope he stays for a long time! smile

        • Kop Warrior says:

The great thing is we’re not overly reliant on one player, unlike when Suarez & Stevie carried us. Obviously Coutinho is our best player but in saying that I feel we could cope without him for a couple of games if we had to.

        • Matt says:

Ah god same here!! Absolutely love the guy and what he’s doing with what he has is amazing. By that I mean he hasn’t spent hundreds on players yet is still playing brilliantly.

        • RedVT says:

Absolutely Kop. Must be a nightmare to try and defend against them, the goals can come from anywhere- even Lovren or Matip! laugh

        • RedVT says:

Yup, I love that story he tells Matt about his 1st job as a manager. Where the Chairman or whoever comes in after his 1st season and and asks him which new players he wants to buy. He tells him nobody, that he wants to work with the players he already has and improve them to win. Quite a difference in philosophy from the Sulky One who buys ridiculously expensive players just because he can and then doesn’t even use them!

In the top 100K again. I am keeping the faith in Ibra. I am not releasing him this season. HAHAHA! NEVER! NEVER! He lost me 0.4m in value already, but I’m okay, we’ll be stronger IBRA! Someday. laugh
