Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: And we are off!! Game-week 10 gets us going with a foregone conclusion, as Arsenal will grab the 3 points when they travel to the Stadium of light Darkness. That “one team rolling over and playing dead” fixture is followed by six more. United look to bore Burnley off the pitch, Boro and Bournemouth tangle in another battle of low expectations. In other action, the best defence (Spurs) faces Leicester, who can’t defend, so much so that even United scored on them…4 times. Watford and Hull duel in a battle of fugly kits, The Baggies face first place City at the Hawthorns and Palace finish the day off with a match up against the “WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE LEAGUE” Liverpool.
Sunday gives us two more fixtures. Struggling for a win Everton faces the slightly improving Hammers. In the late game, Chelsea and their suddenly vaunted attack look to stop the Saints from continuing their march up the table.
Monday closes the game-week off with a made for Halloween fixture, as only the freaks will be out and about to watch Stoke and Swansea scare each other with their bad play.

What are your thoughts on ideal replacement for Capoue?
    Gundogon, Allen, Matic?

Wow… Murphy’s Law is happening. Walcott is out, Valencia broke his arm. And now Jag is benched… what’s the chance of Amat playing?

Guys seriously, what happened to Jag?

    Ok looking for advice
    2 ft, zero funds.
Would like Lukaku and maybe Gundagon, or maybe Coutino.
Poss sacrifice two of …KDB / Lallana / Rashford.

With the exception of Swansea in 2 GWs, Lukaku has difficult fixtures coming, so I would not buy him now (in faact, I have him and consider selling him!)
I love KDB, but I feel like you that he is too expensive for what he is bringing right now. So what aoubt KDB->Coutinho, and Lallana or Bolasie to whoever you prefer (Firmino?)

Wouldn’t wanna lose KDB but KDB + Bolasie allows you to do Sterling and Coutinho (City cover + Pool) within 2 FTs.

Hope you lads had a good week as I had a pretty good one myself!

Which is more urgent for this coming week? I want to bring in Leicester cover
    A. Marshall to Schmeichel
    B. Williams to Fuchs

I am leaning towards B and then Marshall -> Heaton for long term GK

    Marshall (Pickford)
    Prodl Williams Pieters (Amat Evans)
    Sanchez Walcott Firmino Coutinho Shaqiri
    LKK Aguero (Diomande)

Neo..Williams to Fuchs for me..Great fixtures plus superb attacking threat. He’s a good bargain at 5.4m

      Vinci says:

Between both alternative I would go for B.
But don t you want to solve Diomande’s issue before? You are set in 3-5-2, but a forward that plays as a first subsitute could turn valuable…

      • Neo says:

Thanks lads. Think I will go for B. Though the alternative could be Williams to Morgan + Marshall to Schmeichel to double up on Leicester for the weeks to come but I think Heaton could be the budget keeper for the year!

I am set for 3-5-2 as I feel that it’s the way to go (for now). I don’t have much funds to play around for my 3rd striker and so will wait until Diomande’s ban is over 😉
