Live Match Chat Gameweek 11 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

Is Gundogan to worth a punt?

1 FT. Nothing ITB. Not having Haz , Walcott, Lukaku will hurt me. But seems impossible to squeeze them in. Planning to AoA next GW. Will Sanchez be ready to play next GW? Should I make any early transfer?

Haha am seeing this right? The team with most point this week only started in GW9, played WC in GW10 and TC in GW11?

Hello gents. I have this team and i am thinking of getting Hazard in place of either Ozil (straight swap) or Walcott ( downgrade mustafi to Friend). Have 1.1 itb and 1FT. What are your thoughts?

      Smash10 says:

Straight swap for Ozil I think

        • colonel says:

wouldnt you do it now so that you catch the price rise and save the 0.2 you would end up paying if you wait?

        • dawids11 says:

it’s always a risk making the transfers before the IB. you can build team value with that early move but you can end up taking a hit if there’s any injury.

        • Brookyboy says:

+1 I’d rather lose .2m in value over the international break than bring in a player early who could potentially get injured and you end up having to do. a -4.Lot of hysteria about Hazard at the moment with people talking about taking -8 hits and taking out players that are scoring points for them.People need to calm the f*ck down !! :cuckoo:

        • colonel says:

Brookboy you are probably right about people going mad about Hazard. The problem is i had him since GW1 and i feel dumb twice for having let go of him after three blanks when i knew that he would be a season keeper. Hence my hastiness to want to get him back. But i get that it is wise to wait for the IB to be over

      • colonel says:

I am leaning towards that too. i have had him for so long though and have been waiting for the explosion for a few weeks. Hopefully it will not backfire. Worst case scenario i will bring him back in place of walcott even though that would mean downgrade an Arsenal defender to a Boro one. But given how defenses are faring this year it wouldnt be too bad an ideai guess

    dawids11 says:

i have 2 defenders suspended, 1 injured and 1 lost his place.. + i need to ship Hazard in. on top the ‘fun’ of the good international matches are in the corner… i might have a challenging transfer period for GW12 laugh

Morning all I drop like a brick this GW feeling I need either Haz or Costa but would have to take Firmino or Sanchez out & Luk maybe sacrifice Luk after this GW but would still need to find 1m thinking the following:

Deeney out this gw to Vokes
    or
    Redmond out for Gudmundsson

    Which would you go for

If I went Haz I could go
Bellerin out Stones or Morgan in & Firmino out Haz in but not sure this would be worth it ????

Judging by your rank should be asking you really. I’m not a fan of either of those moves

      abhirup780 says:

Deeney to Vokes only looks sensible.
All your mids are in good form and outscore Haz easily. Firmino to Haz is a sideways move for me.

      Brookyboy says:

Silvers why would you consider taking Firminho out ? He’s scoring you points and Pool have great fixtures !!

      • Silvers says:

How are we Brookyboy I’m just trying to find a way of getting Haz in but if Wally can find some form again it might be Sabchez to Wally & Redmond to Haz I don’t really want to let San or Fir go but Haz is on fire

        • Brookyboy says:

All good mate.Having a shite season so far but plenty of time to turn it around.Just going to have to be patient !!
Yeah I understand wanting to get Haz in but no panic mate you’ve got a good team there and a great rank.Even if he went up to 10.5 m there would be ways of working him in without sacrificing your good players in my opinion.I’d look at saving your transfer next gw and see how the land lies.A lot can happen and you will be in a much stronger position with 2 transfers.Lukaku’s fixtures take a turn for the worse so you could switch him to say Austin or Vokes and maybe downgrade Bellerin. That should give you enough cash to Redmond to Hazard I think ??

        • Silvers says:

Cheers Brookyboy I thk you are right I might just hold we cant have everyone. Your team looks good to me mate as you say there is still time to turn things around.
