Live Match Chat Gameweek 11 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

Walcott and Costa OR Hazard and Austin?

had a look at the top 5 teams and noticed that neither of them has Agüero.. pretty interesting.
plus the team ranked #9 overall is unbelievable with Defoe, Austin and Lukaku forward line without Firmino, Mané, Coutinho or Hazard.. crazy smile

Can someone jot it down quickly about who is playing when in this int break?

I really want Chelsea cover but don’t want to rush into making decisions… I’m leaning towards B and would need to need to transfer soon due to price changes… What should I do? I think the essential question is whether I prefer Pedro/Sanchez or Walcott/Hazard, thoughts?

    A. Walcott to Pedro
    B. Walcott/LKK to Pedro/Costa for -4
    C. Sanchez/LKK to Hazard/Costa for -4
    D. Sanchez to Hazard

Hi neo – I wouldnt get Costa in just now with him being at 4 yellows. Keep him if you have him, but don’t go buy him I’d say.
Everton’s fixtures take a turn for the worse after the next GW so maybe Walcott + Luk to Haz + Austin if possible?

I’d just sit back and wait for this int break to be over and Hope some of them get injured and that’d make your team selection easy.

abhirup – we have around 60 games this IB, could you narrow your question down a little bit in terms of what your looking for? It it FPL wise? Any specific player or players you want to know about?

Only the players of FF interest. Sanchez is playing on 10th and 15th. 15th is against Uruguay. So he may play for 90min and may lose his gametime against Man U.
What about others like Mane, Firm, Cout, Hazard etc.?

      • DMC says:

Haz has a friendly with Holland on the 10th and then a home game against Estonia on the 13th. Expect him to cruise from those games.
Mane only plays once and its on the 12th away at South Africa so unless strange things happen (which they tend to when Africa and especially Sadio, come into place) he’ll be back soon and fresh for the saints game.
Coutinho and Firmino have a home game against Argentina on the 10th and then away at Peru on the dawn of the 16th. Their due back late on the 16th and they play saturday afternoon. Time for Sturridge and Wjinaldum? Just kidin mate, they should be fine to start that match, baring injuries, fatigue, etc.

        • DMC says:

Sanchez is in the same situation as the notable brazilians: he plays on the night of the 15th and is then due back on the 16th (thursday). Plenty of time to recover I’d say. Granted his game is the early kick off in saturday so he may either strugle a bit … or score a hatty…

        • abhirup780 says:

Thanks mate. Very useful info. Hope Sanchez starts in that important game.

So, a Giovinco hattrick away at NYC. Brutal.
