Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

Some thoughts on my team. Not the greatest week, I only scored 48 points just under the average.
my two Liverpool midfielders saved my bacon this GW to a respectable 48.
This has dropped me to 76K rank

I will wait till after ITB but some immediate thoughts on my team?

Wilson to Austin seems to be the move, I am also toiling with putting a plan together to go 3-5-2 with strong mid and downgrading a defender and Wilson.

    Thoughts?

      Tough one.
Your team looks excellent, with the exception of the 3rd forward or the 5th mid.
With a WC, I would downgrade Cech, Coleman and Walker and upgrade Maney.
But with a few FT, the best way to go is probably to change Wilson indeed.

charlcupido Wilson to Austin that should do for now I would keep Walker if you can Coleman to Pieters I would change & Cech to Heaton then use cash to upgrd Marey to maybe Gundogan ,Snoddy , Gudmundsson , Matic Zaha or Stanislas see who rotates with Allen best.

worst season since I joined FPL in 2008. net 64 GW11 but still only 513 against my target 583. Captain picks have been the killer. Don’t have any Chelsea cover but with Ibra banned now might be good opportunity. Have 1FT and 2.7 itb.
    Squad Pickford/Zieler
    Williams, Amat, Smith, Mustafi, McAuley
    Redmond, Allen, Gundogen, Firmino, Ozil
    Ibra, Kun, Vokes

    1 Ibra – Costa
    2 Ibra – Lukaku Redmond – Hazard for -4
3 wait for injury reports after IB before doing anything

Any thoughts would as always be gratefully received

Does anyone follow Sunderland and know whether Anichebe is likely to start going forward?

      Let’s break it down

Goalie- Solid pick long term but doubling up on Man U defence am not too sure of that. Plus he is costly. If u really want a costly goalie get Courtois in.

      Defender- Prime defence. But pricey

Midfield- You need a more potent 3rd midfielder. Matic and Allen both can be taken as favorable 4th mids

      Forwards- Epic. The best

So I would suggest release funds by letting of two prime defenders or one def and a goalie
Use that cash to upgrade Matic to Lallana may be (since he is the cheapest of the Pool prime mids)
Plus you can’t raise enough money to get a more premium mid

      • nishant says:

Or you can get Pedro instead of Lallana

        • Waxys says:

Thank thank you for the feedback. I used to have Lallana. However he is a bit inconsistent. If I were to downgrade my goalie I could replace gundogan with lallana.

Matic is surprising he gets 5 or 6 points each week and for the price that’s really good I’m hesitant about letting him go.

        • Waxys says:

Oh also in regards to Blind I’ve been looking to replace him with Cahill when I get the opportunity. But funds are really low so I’ll need to cut costs on my bench
