Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

As it seems early transfers have at least given me some positives smile
Got Has for 9.9mn, now he is 10.1
    Coutinho for 8.6mn, now 8.7
    Heaton for 4.7mn, now 4.8
Sold Sterling for 8.2, now 8.1

Something to cheer for, as I am living with the fear of IB injuries
    😉

First time posting here..though have been following for 2 years. Took a -12 hit for this. Aiming for the long run. Worth it?? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Team looks great Attackwise. Just not sure -12 was really the need of the hour 😉

Thanks mate. Actually my core team is settled nicely. Took the hit because otherwise wouldn’t be able to bring Hazard in considering the rate of his price rise. I am just looking for an extra edge in my mini leagues.

Just in Lukaku broke his leg, Gundogan has a toe injury, Hazard is a weener.

No seriously. You already took that hit, so early? Crazy. You know the IB is on and anything could happen. Using 1 ft, I get, already a little crazy. But a 12 point hit considering anything could happen this IB! Not smart.

      • sunny1984 says:

I know. Just the price rises are crazy this season. Hazard rose 0.2 in 2 days. If I waited, I couldn’t afford him. Fingers crossed now. Points wise…sitting comfortable on my mini leagues table…so took the gamble.

      welcome to the site Sunny.
a 12 pt hit is a big hit to take, i take it you already used your wildcard?
Your midfield looks great, defense looks a bit light and lacking cover.
Luka has some harder fixtures coming up after the next gw so i’d keep an eye on his form.

      • sunny1984 says:

Thanks mate. Used up my wc in gw 4. I chose a cheap defence considering none of the costly defenders from the big teams are regularly locked on for a CS. Chelsea is the exception. One goal and my CS is gone. I thought would invest up front and wait for the occasional Cs from the cheap defence.

Oh and yes mate. Since you will be playing 3-5-2
May be you might want a more nailed on 5th mid than Gundogan.
Allen comes to my mind immediately

      • sunny1984 says:

I considered Allen. But I can always ship out Gundogan with FT to buy the cheaper Allen if it comes to that. Not sure I could afford the reverse should Gundogan keep on rising and scoring points. That was my thought.

Any suggestion regarding the team and any transfer suggestion would be very much appreciated

I already took -4 hit to bring in Hazard and Lallana. It’s not ideal to make transfers so early but I had to given price rises. May even do another one
