Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 10 FPL News: Our game-week starts at 3pm on Saturday afternoon. It’s like the good old days. Well it’s not really as there’s only 4 games at 3pm. First up is 3 points for Bournemouth as they welcome the hapless David Moyes and his bunch of not so merry men from Sunderland. Crystal Palace travel to face Tom Heaton Burnley. Having beaten Barcelona on Tuesday night City will be confident of taking 3 points as they host Middlesbrough. West Ham host an ever improving Stoke side. Let’s hope that Andy Carroll is ok following Wednesday’s incident when he was held at gunpoint. Rumour has it the incident was carried out by the same gang who stole Shergar! Saturday concludes at 5:30pm when Everton travel to face a Chelsea side who have won 4 on the bounce.
Sunday kicks off at midday with the North London derby as Spurs make the short trip to the Emirates. Expect a feisty encounter as Spurs will be keen not to lose further ground to their nearest & dearest. Sunday also sees Hull host Southampton, free scoring Liverpool host Watford, United travel to Wales to face Swansea, while our game-week concludes as Leicester host West Brom.

Having a poor GW can’t even bring myself to look! Knew it would be bad this week but my hits didn’t pay off! Took a -4 to bring in Heaton so he had to outscore Pickford by 4 to break even… so I’d have been 6 points better off leaving it! And I took another -4 to bring in Allen .. who got a point! Ouch!
Anywho got 6 left to play so who knows!
Decided to jump on my transfers early so I could afford the moves so brought in Haz and Alonso so I’m feeling positive moving forward!
Also one of my rivals ( who brought in Haz this week) burnt his TC on Aguero yesterday so I’m feeling chipper about that one to!

You’re going to have to slow down with all the transfers is all mate, the earlier you use them the more likely you are to take a hit and taking a hit on a GK is just all sorts of crazy, just don’t bother looking at it for a few days after the next GW starts.

I know I’ve became the new ‘MItro’ ! Ha ha
I’m done now, after this week I’m going on ‘HIT rehab’
In my defence it was all very planned out and the HITS I’ve taken are for the long haul and not for a quick fix hence why I’m not freaking out this week!
I had been stuck with a non playing keeper for weeks but needed the funds from a HIT to make it work. Allen was a bit of a knee jerk but I’m happier with him than Capoue moving forward.
Haz and Alonso are again long term moves and I couldn’t do one without the other unless I sold Sanchez which I didn’t want to do. I really like the look of my Team now and I’m actually in a place where all 5 of my defenders could do well next GW which is rare for me!

      • Sound advice here Rosco.

I understand it looked like you couldn’t afford the moves otherwise but who’s to say another player you have becomes unavailable after the internationals and it could be he who you take out to afford the guys you brought in? If that makes sense laugh

There’s always a way – right now you are on a risk of another hit. Heck, Hazard may get injured*

        *I’m dead aren’t I? :say-what:

I know and normally I don’t play so ‘fast and loose’ ! I’m def going to hold off as id had a few drinks after being at the Newcastle match and FPL and alcohol don’t mix!
They really should lock the transfer window until the GW is finished!!

    Austin/Haz/Alonso in.
    Have Kun/Costa/Austin up top.
    Team 2:-
    Sterling/Lallana/Valencia out.
    Haz/Allen/Alonso in.
