Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News: A two week gap in FPL can seem like an eternity, especially when you have to watch the international games knowing that you’re precious assets are literally risking injury at every turn. Thankfully it’s now over and we can return to normality this weekend. All the worry over whether Sanchez / Hazard / Costa / ‘insert your player name here’ is either fit / injured / on a plane / missed a plane / drunk / ‘insert daft rich player behaviour here’, is almost over. This is a rare PL weekend as we have a grand total of 8 games on Saturday. GW12 itself begins on Saturday lunchtime as Manchester United host Arsenal and runs all the way through to Monday evening when the excitement will surely reach a crescendo with West Brom hosting Burnley. You can almost taste the sarcasm in that one. In between those the title race hots up as new leaders Liverpool visit Southampton at the same time that most peoples early favourites Man City hit the road to visit Lord Pardew of Palace. Elsewhere Lukaku will be a much captained hero or zero, as he always is, as Everton entertain Swansea before Spurs and West Ham bring Saturday to a close with a London derby. After an unusually busy first day, Sunday will feel a bit sparse with just the one game, which sees the Chelsea juggernaut travel north and it’ll probably plough straight on through Middlesbrough without stopping before returning back down south with 3 points and another handful of goals and FPL points in its back pocket. Cherish it though, as then there’s Monday…

40 points with Hazard and McAuley still to go has seen me move into the top 10k which is very nice. My plan was to change Son to Lallana next week but after bailing himself out with those two assists I’m not sure anymore. Thoughts anyone?
I’d still switch him, he’s not a guaranteed starter and you got uber lucky this week!

Done finalised my team for the upcoming fixtures and weeks.
I think it’s a great team and I don’t see myself changing it anymore. Has good coverage and the midfield is weak but the players I have will get points consistently at least compared to people like Sanchez.

I believe so. Matic Fletcher and Cook is too much of a carefree midfield I believe though. :/

To quote my friend Inittowinit, “I respectfully disagree”.
Midfield is where the points have been this season so far and while I accept that the trend may continue, I think form of the top midfielders shows that they are worth decent investment.
Clean sheets have been tough to come by on the whole. And Matic will not be enough to warrant being your 3rd midfielder.

This season particularly, the points have been in the midfield; then in the forwards; and by far the least rewarding (and most inconsistant) are the defenders.
Personnally, I sacrifice teh defense to have a great midfield.
But, hey, it’s you call, and if it pays off you will get a great differential!

Is Walker really worth the money? Thinking of downgrading him now, have made 0.2 profit on him. Already have Britos, Francis, kelly, Amat. Stoke or Leic defender? or other suggestions?
Depends what you are using the money for. Pieters is a decent option as is probably West Brom defender. Leicester seem to be struggling maybe age is catching up on Morgan and Huth
Can’t really support Stoke defense after this week’s result but if you want them I think Shawcross is your man. A goal from him is due.
It’s so annoying that Gundogan and Stones don’t play and people have the likes of Capoue and Anichebe coming in

If I were you I’d get Kane for Austin ASAP everything else looks good maybe downgrade Walcott to afford Kane or repalcenwlacott with capoue if capoue is back in form
Austin has decent fixtures and Spurs have Chelsea and ManU in next 3 so would get Kane after that and let Austin do his job
I’m not sure on Austin. Debating whether to get rid. Saints don’t score many goals have a lot of away games and I noticed Long was back on the bench
And to do Austin to Kane, you have to find 4.5M. Downgrading Walcott will give you 3M tops.
Pesonnally, I am not so sure that Kane is a must have now, given his price.
Maybe I would just change Stones or Morgan for a cheaper defender, to free some funds. Or keep the FT, since the team already looks very good.

How about Morgan (or Stones in fact) to Cedric of Saints? Their fixtures aren’t too shabby and the are at least keeping clean sheets from time to time unlike Leicester and Manchester City.
