Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News

Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News: A two week gap in FPL can seem like an eternity, especially when you have to watch the international games knowing that you’re precious assets are literally risking injury at every turn. Thankfully it’s now over and we can return to normality this weekend. All the worry over whether Sanchez / Hazard / Costa / ‘insert your player name here’ is either fit / injured / on a plane / missed a plane / drunk / ‘insert daft rich player behaviour here’, is almost over. This is a rare PL weekend as we have a grand total of 8 games on Saturday. GW12 itself begins on Saturday lunchtime as Manchester United host Arsenal and runs all the way through to Monday evening when the excitement will surely reach a crescendo with West Brom hosting Burnley. You can almost taste the sarcasm in that one. In between those the title race hots up as new leaders Liverpool visit Southampton at the same time that most peoples early favourites Man City hit the road to visit Lord Pardew of Palace. Elsewhere Lukaku will be a much captained hero or zero, as he always is, as Everton entertain Swansea before Spurs and West Ham bring Saturday to a close with a London derby. After an unusually busy first day, Sunday will feel a bit sparse with just the one game, which sees the Chelsea juggernaut travel north and it’ll probably plough straight on through Middlesbrough without stopping before returning back down south with 3 points and another handful of goals and FPL points in its back pocket. Cherish it though, as then there’s Monday…

I for one refuse to count out Wayne Rooney lots of potential between him and Ibrahimovic if Kane doesn’t work out I might consider Rooney. He’s a legend after all.

Guys, is there any value in holding on to stones, i yhink I’ve had enough now. I had himself and gundagon and neither played… Really pissed off. I was thinking cedric for stones before i read any comments on here.

24 (28 with 4 points hit) point with Hazard, McAuley, Heaton and Vokes to go. Could be much worse. I still hope to avoid red arrow this week. ATM I dropped 200 places OR.

Looks like Lallana will be out for few weeks. I have 1.2 ITB and one free transfer.
I guess Walcott looks good for replacement but there are some worries that he might lose his place so I will probably stay clear.
Son? I have no Spurs coverage but they have tricky fixtures in next few weeks and were extremely lucky against WHU from what I saw and read.
Yaya? I`m not so sure he will play week in, week out. Need to see what will happen in the midweek.
Sterling? Big rotation risk and he lost his spark from the start of the season
Mata? He might be an option actually as it seems anytime he play United get at least point
Milner? I guess with upcoming fixtures Liverpool might be due few penalties and he plays very much up front any way so there is an option for assist.
Sigurdson? Dead ball specialists and nice fixtures. Looks like Swansea might be ready to earn few points.
Snodgrass? Why not? Hull have really good fixtures and he was unlucky not to score yesterday.

At this moment Mata, Milner and Sigurdson would be my top 3
Only Sigurdson will go up within 3 days and I bought Lallana for 7.1 so I will not be affected even if his price drops.

Who else might be worth consideration?

Doing pretty shit on 17 but have captain Haz, alsonso and Evans to come so may get a few more points but not holding my breath! After 2 weeks of knee jerk transfers I’m now still in possession of my FT on a Sunday morning – result!
Was hoping to hold and work with2 but Allen getting banned and Gundogan not playing is a worry, anyone know why the latter didn’t play?
Thoughts on this lot moving forward and I’m thinking over the next 3/4 game weeks to prep me for xmas ?

Just want to thank everyone for their useful advice! It’s greatly appreciated. And for your persistence in finally getting thrlugj to a stubborn mule like me.

I’m just stuck on my old ways from when I had players like Rooney, Toure, Suarez, Van Persie, Bale and Lampard scoring constitsntly.

I’ll just have to change and adopt to the new midfield dominance reliictsnt as I am to discard defence it’s true that I haven’t seen a good return.

Terrible week, 15 points so far. But I know I am not alone!
For next week, 2 FTE, 0.3ITB.
I am thinking to go 3-5-2 by doing Lukaku, Marney, Morgan –> Hazard, Ngyom, Anichebe or Diomande (-4, 0.3 or 0.4 ITB).

    Does that make sense?
Should I go to Anichebe, Diamande or somebiody else as a 3rd forward? Should I keep Morgan and downgrade either Hobelas or Smith, in which case I would have to move tonight?
    Thanks!
