Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 12 FPL News: A two week gap in FPL can seem like an eternity, especially when you have to watch the international games knowing that you’re precious assets are literally risking injury at every turn. Thankfully it’s now over and we can return to normality this weekend. All the worry over whether Sanchez / Hazard / Costa / ‘insert your player name here’ is either fit / injured / on a plane / missed a plane / drunk / ‘insert daft rich player behaviour here’, is almost over. This is a rare PL weekend as we have a grand total of 8 games on Saturday. GW12 itself begins on Saturday lunchtime as Manchester United host Arsenal and runs all the way through to Monday evening when the excitement will surely reach a crescendo with West Brom hosting Burnley. You can almost taste the sarcasm in that one. In between those the title race hots up as new leaders Liverpool visit Southampton at the same time that most peoples early favourites Man City hit the road to visit Lord Pardew of Palace. Elsewhere Lukaku will be a much captained hero or zero, as he always is, as Everton entertain Swansea before Spurs and West Ham bring Saturday to a close with a London derby. After an unusually busy first day, Sunday will feel a bit sparse with just the one game, which sees the Chelsea juggernaut travel north and it’ll probably plough straight on through Middlesbrough without stopping before returning back down south with 3 points and another handful of goals and FPL points in its back pocket. Cherish it though, as then there’s Monday…

    • I kept Sanchez but I don’t care. Arsenal deserve to lose this game. 0 shots on target after 85+ minutes.

    • Giroud scores..and sanchez involved(in hugging him)..

        • I know. Chelsea has Spurs and City away next. smile Arsenal have Bou (H) and WHU (A). Have to fear for the Sanchez spot though. Maybe Giroud in there might him better. Gives the defenders something else to think about. With Wally and the other wide players the right teams can defend. Today was lethargic from Arsenal, they deserved nothing from this game.

    • That whole Arsenal team looked quite depressed and lethargic. They literally should have gotten nothing from that game. Worst performance this season. Very lucky. 1 shot on target and well it is in. 😉

      • Agree with you mate. They lackd passion and and the will to make things happen. Happy with Jenkins though. He wasn’t shit. A big job taking up Bellerins placesmile

      • Thought the same Raz. They looked jaded, Ramsey in particular was off his game and off the pace right from the first minute. They should have switched it at HT and put Giroud on then, they were playing into United’s hands and Sanchez was isolated. Pretty poor all round that I’m afraid. No offence Nish!

        • Sanchez wasn’t really at fault. He started the game very well, later could do nothing. Wenger is too freaking stubborn, he should have brought in Giroud at half time. He gives a different dimension, Arsenal is not Barca and they never will be. I heard a few Arsenal stars like Sanchez not yet set a new contract. There is still a chance they will leave.

        • None taken Init. Agree with you. Wasn’t anywhere close to the artistic style of play they usually show.
          I miss Cazorla. sad

          And Raz, I would want Sanchez to stay. Always smile

        • I love watching Arsenal in full flow so I guess I was just disappointed with that display today. Is Elneny always that poor too?!

        • No mate. He isn’t like this at all. It was a shocking display from everyone almost. it always looked like Wenger already came with a defensive mind. We did not see any effort from any of the players. Sanchez was the only one running almost everywhere on the field. there were no good movement at all. Wing play was not effective. There wasn’t anything from the middle too.

        • By defensive mind I mean “the playing against Mou thing”. You know the history.

          Plus Ramsey is more effective from the middle.

        • Rambo looked shot mate. Internationals really took their toll on him today.

    • Nah not for Ox anyway. Maybe if Giroud starts again

    • Well the reason for me saying a point well taken was that we were highly unlikely to take any point. So it was great not to play to the merit but still end up getting 1 point at United’s home and at least not see the devil Mourinho win. smile

  6. Hi, I played AOA as only 2 defenders this week due to suspensions, I have Gundogan in team and Amat on bench, will autosub still work even though I used AOA? Rubbish chip anyway, thanks

    • Amat will stay on the bench I’m afraid swampster. Although that may turn out to be a blessing!
