Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News
Welcome to Live Match Chat Gameweek 14 FPL News: Oh dearie me, look what we start the game-week with? ‘A Clash of the Cash’ no less. Two continental firebrand managers at the top of their game and two title contenders going head-to-head. Doesn’t get much juicier than this really. Cue the boring 0-0. Unless Stones plays… in which case captain Costa. 3pm then brings us five games, most notably Pardew’s last, if he makes it there at all, and Spurs entertaining Swansea in a much anticipated goal fest. Cue the 0-0. Yet another London derby sees Saturday out as Arsenal visit West Ham in what should be an entertaining encounter. Sunday sees a Coutinho-less Liverpool try to adjust to life without him as they visit a Bournemouth side who looked impressive last weekend despite losing to Arsenal and the last time they faced a defence as shaky as Klopp’s they hammered Hull 6-1, could be goals in this one. Later on Sunday Rooney checks out his inevitable retirement home, that’s if Jose lets him off the bench. That’s if he’s even on it himself. Or can manage to stay there even if he is. All bets are off. Our game-week closes on Monday with ‘Boro hosting Hull. How or why this one is being televised we don’t quite know, quotas have a lot to answer for, if you somehow own a player from either then you’ll probably still be mildly interested. Do yourself a big favour though and slap yourself in the face and ask why you do. Enjoy GW14 with us on Live Match Chat. Ask anything you want, post anything you want, just be sure to filter the answers with a wry smile

Well that just about seals the template up front for Xmas period.
Kane+Costa+Defoe /Austin/Ihean
Sanchez+Haz+Firm+ affordable differentials
(C) Armband vs Swansea
It’s a nice sentiment but have you seen who they’re playing?!
Have you seen who they have scored against recently?
Quick poll if anyones about? Which one of the following to replace Matic? The plan is to transfer Morgan to Alonso, I would then need to get rid a Chelsea player which will be Matic leaving me with 6.0 itb
1. Allen
2. Fer
3. Watmore
4. Redmond
Current team
1. If he can get his place back. Bit stupid that he didn’t immediately but that’s Hughes for you. Fer would be 2nd if he can’t.
Yeh bit apprehensive on that front seeing as we’re now in rotation December
I don’t think the rotation’s going to be that bad this year, the boxing day games actually give the players a longer week then usual with them playing on a Monday, the only really dodgy looking fixture for some is GW 20 where they have to play Saturday (GW19) and then Monday (GW20).
ok
Honestly I like Zaha, Palace look like a team who can score goals, as it’s attacking coverage that we’re looking at who cares if they concede three or four in the process.
He’d be my preference overall. I was just going off the list presented.
I’ll take a look at Zaha again. Thanks
Starting to see a trend just captain whoever is playing Swansea, Hull or West Ham. They all have the potential to leak goals in for fun
I was thinking that so thought of taking out Austin for Defoe, but upon further investigation it seems as though Defoe enjoys his xmas breaks as he hasnt scored during Dember since 2012!
Speach impediment – December
With the fixtures Austin and SOton have, taking him out? Crazy, if you ask me.
Yeh your right, no stones unturned. Even looked at Andy Carroll based on fixtures and he’s handed in more sick notes than the original sick note – Mr Anderton.
You’re right ?
You’ll have to pry the armband from Sanchez’s dead fingers first mate. It is great to see so many players capable of big score’s this season though, long may it continue
Bournemouth
1Boruc 15Smith 2Francis 3Cook 5Aké 8Arter 4Gosling 17King 32Wilshere 19Stanislas 13Wilson
Liverpool
1Karius 2Clyne 21Lucas 6Lovren 7Milner 23Can 14Henderson 5Wijnaldum 19Mané 27Origi 11Firmino
Looks like Milner could be playing left back today, good luck with getting a LFC penalty with that one lads
Also Mon Lovren and Mane, could do with another high scoring game in this one.
Origi sucks, was happing that Wijnaldum would get the number 10 role.
After having said this, Origi is bound to score a hatty. 😉 LOL!
That’s normally how it works mate, no doubt he’ll be fouled for a penalty as well now.
Haven’t made my Kun to Kane or Ibra transfer yet. Keeping it for something might happen midweek.
Hoping Costa will be alright. I see Firminho is starting so that’s 1 flag less. Though, this doesn’t look like an injury that will go away.
Lazy fuckers. Here you go.
Lineup – Liverpool starting line-up: Loris Karius, Nathaniel Clyne, James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Lucas Leiva, Dejan Lovren, Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum, Divock Origi, Sadio Mané, Roberto Firmino.
Substitutes: Alberto Moreno, Ovie Ejaria, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ragnar Klavan, Ben Woodburn, Adam Lallana, Simon Mignolet
Lineup – Bournemouth starting line-up: Artur Boruc, Adam Smith, Nathan Aké, Dan Gosling, Simon Francis, Steve Cook, Joshua King, Harry Arter, Callum Wilson, Jack Wilshere, Junior Stanislas.
Substitutes: Adam Federici, Marc Pugh, Ryan Fraser, Jordon Ibe, Benik Afobe, Brad Smith, Tyrone Mings
Ake seems to be a first team player now, damn. He is interesting. Think he plays midfield but is defender. It is that I already have Smith.
Just noticed dude is only 4.2m as well. Def. someone worth putting watchlist and getting when I have a new WC to play around with.
I think he only plays when they have an injury
Yeah and someone included him in a Tips article a couple of weeks ago.
Ho-hum.
He’s played centre half for the last 2 games.
